Everyone from office to techs has been impressive……VERY responsive, professional, competent, on time, courteous, clearly explain customer’s problem and what was done to fix it. I feel so fortunate to have this company for all my heat pump and furnace needs. They are a rare find and I am so grateful to have them in my corner.
We called Arundel Cooling & Heating today with an emergency for my mothers AC. It’s been out for 24 hours and was blowing hot air. They didn’t really have any availability however because of her being in her 70’s and in a 55+ community they were sympathetic and assured us she would be seen today.
Donald arrived and was extremely professional and courteous. Within a matter of 30 mins her AC was repaired and working towards cooling her house down from the above 80 degrees it had been all day.
Arundel Cooling & Heating will be our goto forever now.
We’ll be cancelling her contract from another the McCruddy service provider she’s had, who told her it would be 5 days until she could be seen! And will be discussing a new service and maintenance agreement with Arundel now. Thanks again Arundel!!!!!
I called earlier today about my AC not running right, seemed hotter than it should be. I had the pleasure of working with James and he was great! Very thorough with his work. I called around 12:30, and James was here within the hour. He was funny, polite, and honest. Which I appreciate honesty. Will be calling them back if I have any further issues!
BEWARE!! I was told I need a new coil for the air handler, that the part was covered by the warranty, and it would take about 4 hours to install. Then I received an email stating I would be charged over $ 1,400 for the repair with no details attached. When I asked what that charge was for and was told it covered labor and related items- the company refused to provide any other details.
Arundel Cooling was always on time, sent courteous and knowledgeable personnel who kept me informed on the status of their work and who had the right technical solutions. I used them for about 35 years and never had a complaint. Outstanding service, thanks again.
I have used arundel hvac for over 10 years at our church. The technician JB that services and maintains our 14 units has expertise second to none. This organization is well run, demonstrates a,team effort to serve their clients. They keep on impressing me. Walt V the service Mgr and John V the Gen Mgr are super fantasic to work with. We have been using Arundel for over 2 decades. Their work as well as their people have always been professional as well as cordial. We recommend them to anyone for the services they provide!
Overall good purchase experience and happy with the company. We moved into a new house and had to replace 2 heat pumps and 2 air handlers. We had multiple quotes, and for the features we wanted, these guys were very competitive in price. Also, they were responsive and professional to deal with. Kevin Adams (sales) answered all our questions comprehensively and quickly. The install, county inspection, and and our state rebates were smoothly handled. When we had a few follow-up issues and called in, they scheduled service very quickly and resolved the issue. We will post later on how our maintenance service experience is. However, the overall good sales experience was tempered by some other items: (1) Our previous purchase of Carrier Infinity equipment came with a written home energy report of our current flow, needs, and capacity. This was done informally and verbally by these guys (2) They positioned the lines from one of the heat pumps to the house to be facing the yard (instead of in the back of the unit against the house) so that now we will always have risk of yard work (mowing, weeding) damaging our lines into the house - had a few of our other contractors say this wasn't ideal and (3) They did not insulate the discharge lines of our air handler and these are now very cold / hot to the touch, meaning inefficiency due to cooling/ heating loss. I emailed them about these issues and never heard back, again not great customer service if I always have to call to get a response. These are relatively minor in the grand scheme of a big job but are attention to detail items that I wish had been better handled. Otherwise, very happy and a good company. More on the maintenance services as I experience them.....
I'm relatively new to this company, but it's my impression that they have been honest with me in their dealings to date. They have pointed out two small repairs over the past couple of years which seemed necessary to me, and their charges were reasonable and fair. The technician was polite and efficient in his work. So, I'm satisfied with their service and am looking forward to a continuing relationship with them.
