My old A/C unit went out. I called another company that could not install a new unit quickly, so I called Keefe's. They sent a Representative out to see what was needed and the very next day Mr. Carlos and Mr. Dwayne came out and installed a new unit. The two of them were outstanding, professional and worked together with such pride, totally awesome.

Not sure why they have such high reviews here but terrible on Yelp. I have been a customer for almost 15 years and purchased an entire HVAC system in 2016. Have been a customer for 2x a year maintenance since 2009 and it is required for my warranty. It used to be great. For the past 2-3 years, you wait all day and then at the end of the day they tell you the tech could not make it and it has to be rescheduled. Prior to that I would request first thing in the morning and it would be done. Now they cannot even tell you where you are on the schedule the day of service. Once my warranty is up I will find a new company unless they greatly improve their scheduling. I suspect new ownership/management. Greatly disappointed because it used to be such a reliable company.

Technician was polite and worked diligently to identify source of electrical problem. Convinced us to install a whole home surge protector following electrical repairs. Price was very high in my opinion for three hours of work but he left with mission accomplished.

Bought a brand new AC unit from them and it can’t keep the house cool. 80 degrees through out the days and it runs 18-20 hours daily. Wish I would have just kept my old system. All they wanted to do was sell me a new system.

The technician who came out was very nice courteous, and he was also quick with the service that he had provided to me. He explained everything. He also guaranteed me that if anything happened, they would come back out and serve me again and I like that and it was very cheap and reasonable so I rated him a five stars thank you

So we had a new one put in! $16,000!!! They did not replace the pipes going to A/C to the house all the Freon leaked out a month after installation! I called because we could smell it leaking no one would come unless we paid $95! Called Julio the salesman and same answer! After it ran all night and leaked all Freon someone finally came with no charge!

We called Keefe’s when our very old hvac unit was no longer cooling. The technician told me that he couldn’t purchase the outdated refrigerant in our unit and that it would cost $7k and take weeks to repair. Obviously I wasn’t thrilled at having to purchase a new unit, but this wasn’t entirely unexpected given the current one’s age.

Their salesperson came out that afternoon and was rude and pushy. He told me a new unit would run between $10 and $15k and once I told him I’d rather stay on the lower end of that and I also was not signing any paperwork that day, he told me he would get me a quote “within a couple of weeks” rather than “within an hour.” He also said he wanted to speak with my husband before they would do any work.

I had three other companies come out to give quotes, and all were understanding that I wanted to shop around (for a five figure purchase!), got me a quote within an hour of their inspection, and none requested to speak to my husband. I was also quoted a repair within a week for $4k for our existing unit.

To date, Keefe’s still has not sent me a quote. We purchased our new unit and had it installed by a different contractor and I am very glad that that money did not go to Keefe’s.

I would actively discourage anyone reading this from ever scheduling any service or upgrade with Keefe’s.

The ONLY things good I can say is that everyone showed up on time and the person who answered the phone and scheduled my initial appointment was very nice.

I was called last week and asked if I wanted a free A/C system inspection as a courtesy to me since I am a repeat customer with Keefe's. I said yes, and scheduled it so that I could walk through everything with the technician. My previous experience with Keefe's was very good with honest service to add refrigerant to my unit. This time, the technician came in and said he was going to check some things and told me I could wait while he did this. I told him that I would follow him because I want to see what all is checked and how to ensure quality. He checked my blower motor capacitor first and tried to tell me the voltage was low on it (not a common point of failure first off but ok). He continued through some other checks and I told him my unit needs to have refrigerant added once a year usually. He seemed dead set on selling me a new unit. He claimed I'm not low on refrigerant and did not add any. But now that it's warmer outside, my unit is struggling to keep up. I hate it when a tech comes in and assumes the owner doesn't know what's going on. I'm an electrical engineer. Once I told him that, he dropped the initial claim he made about the blower capacitor (clearly BS) and moved on to other things. I've lost my trust in Keefe's. They came out here with one mission (to sell me a new system). Not to service my existing one. Looking elsewhere for service now.

Called on a Monday and had Alex come out same day for consult. Great communication with him. Had them replace entire unit and move it to a better location. I would highly recommend this company. The installers were professional and nice they were here all day and stayed until the job was done. Great experience!
