The tech diagnosed the problem as a inducer motor problem, replaced it and the furnace worked. Now, about an hour later it's not working again. Hoping he gets here and fixes it. Said it would take him at least 2 hours.
Now (4hours after the motor was replaced), it appears there is no clear estimate when the tech will be free and apparently the company has only one person on call. The tech was exceedingly rude when I requested him to speak to his supervisor and request another person to take care of our problem. Tried calling their after hours line and keeps going into voicemail.
Don't even know if the inducer motor needed replacement.
So, it's Monday and their senior tech came by and what a difference! He replaced the circuit board and checked everything. Suggested I go with the new inducer motor as the old one was drawing too much power and could burn out the board. Finally, it's working.
I am giving a 3 because of my experience during the weekend. If it was just based on today, I would have given a 5.

Our service tech was very polite and knowledgeable. He found and repaired the problem quickly. Then spent time checking and cleaning other components, like the drains and housings. The only negative is that it was a little wet out, but he did not wear any shoe covers.
