Perfect service and attention to detail! Furnace went out and Metro came the same morning. Even though Carrier did not have the part right away they made multiple trips to bring space heaters to get is by until the furnace could be fixed the next morning. This is the only Heating and Cooling company I will use in the Des Moines area.
I have been using Metro Heating and Cooling for a while now. We had a contractor recommend them to do the zoning in our first house and they also ended up fixing some problems that others weren't able to figure out. They did such a nice job we had them install everything in our new house, do all the duct work, and etc. They're great.
In desperate need of finding a trustworthy HVAC company to provide technical service to the electronic parts of our zone system for our units, I had to call on past connections to find recommendations for a trustworthy company that was current in these areas of expertise. Joe at Metro was highly recommended. A major challenge was our location, a farm 60 miles from larger cities where you'd have better ability to locate a knowledgeable. At the end of the day Joe returned my call. I found he was totally booked up and an out of town trip for triage and repair really was not in cards at this time. BUT he didn't leave me hanging. Over the phone he began assessing the issue, giving me much needed insight as to what I was dealing with. He allowed me to take photos and text them to him. In doing so I was now connecting with how this system worked and that I may not need to replace everything. That took the sting out of this process. As he was asking questions and telling me what to look for it allowed me to gain a very important level of confidence that their are good people out there. He could have just said lady you're on your own. Because of him I was able to know a bit better what I needed and ask for. I found a service person 25 miles closer to home. For Joes willingness to be sure I was going to be okay I rate him 5 stars as to take the time from his busy schedule to put forth the extra time to assist eventho the likely hood of doing business was zero says volumes to me about this companies integrity "worthiness" to have a job well done. I was willing to wait on him if I had to eventho it was 100 degrees out. Thank you Joe my level of trust is higher and restored. Respectfully submitted, Ivy Sievers 😇
