Jeff installed a new water heater and removed the old one that was leaking. He came on Friday to check out the old one and installed the new one on Saturday. He was very personable and provided great service.

We have used I&M 4 times in the past 15 years. Jeff the tech has always been curt and dismissive. The last time we used him he was demeaning and insulting - to the point we didn't feel safe having him in our home. I don't know what his problem is but he seems to carry a huge chip on his shoulder. Additionally he charges a premium cost for very average service. For these reasons we won't use him again.

Jeff fixed our furnace blower in one day after being contacted by the home warranty company on a night near zero degrees. However, we really needed a new furnace. He help clarify some issues with the warranty people and he installed the new furnace in half of a day. He will install the new AC in March.

Jeff fit me in his already busy schedule because he knew I didn't have heat on a very cold day. He responded quickly and was very professional. He is very knowledgeable about his work. I had heat again very quickly! I will definitely call him again!

Jeff came out the same day and replaced the fan motor of our furnace. He was very friendly and we were quite happy with his service. We would use his services again and highly recommend him.

I&M heating and appliance took great care of my dad Patrick Mangan. He was so happy with their service he asked me to help him write a good review for them! They fixed both of my dads dryers quickly and had great customer service. We would definitely recommend them! Thank you Jeff Beyer!

I had reviewed this business before and gave a better review. Regrettably, I am forced now to return and amend my review.

I had had the suspicion for some time that the work being done on our furnace was not great, but we were kind of locked in here because return calls were covered for a time under maintenance warranty. I finally had enough when the same problems with the furnace occurred again and had another company come out. The new tech could not believe the shoddy work he found in our system, which included all of the following:

* Wire was not grounded, meaning that had there been a power surge the whole system would have fried

* Drain pipes were clogged, even though he had been here six times in two years

* Collector box was leaking after it had just been replaced because it had been leaking... why? Drain pipes clogged.

* Valve switch had been replaced but the one that had been taken out (which was still sitting on the floor) was just fine. The problem wasn't the switch, it was the clogged drain.

* The burners were misaligned.

* The heating sensor coil had build up on it, which contributed to ongoing problems.

* Parts had been replaced in a shoddy way.

The new tech from Goff Heating and Cooling was at our house for 45 minutes. He fixed everything that had been done wrong and checked over everything. He charged me $140 and showed me everything he did. I&M loses my business for good; Goff gains it.

I should also echo what others have said in their reviews: I&M is often condescending to and distrusting of their clients. I experienced this. I've got pretty thick skin and I like sarcasm, but low-level ridicule of the client with the presumption that the client is wrong or, frankly, an idiot is unbecoming.

This is just *not* a reliable or professional outfit. I encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

When my AC went out in June, they quickly determined the cause and unfortunately for me, the entire unit had to be replaced. Once the parts arrived, my appointment was quickly scheduled and the whole replacement was finished by noon. Thanks to Jeff and his team for getting us back up and running.

Jeff has been out to service our air conditioning twice, last year and again this year. He responded quickly to our call over a hot weekend. He worked with our home warranty company to get a complete replacement. Our home warranty is always wanting to apply bandaids vs replacement. Jeff worked his magic and was able to get a full replacement, which was also an upgrade. Looking forward to a very cool summer with lower electric bills, all thanks to I&M Heating and AC. I would recommend Jeff for any air conditioning or furnace issues.

I have a home warranty and we were directed to I&M through the warranty service. We also used this same warranty and same service provider last summer with similar results. Upon making a claim on a Monday, provider stated it would be later in the week, no problem, we will survive. Provider called the next day, stating he would be there between 3-6pm. Ok, great. No call, no show. I called him next day at 11am asking what happened, where he stated he got behind and such, which ok totally understandable, but please call so we can rearrange our schedule and not sit waiting for someone to arrive. Provider stated he was sorry and would be there the next day, Thursday, between 11-12pm. Awesome! Appreciative. Provider then proceeds to NO CALL NO SHOW AGAIN. I had to call at 5pm, asking what’s going on, and he states he got behind and will show up after 8pm. All while being incredibly rude, and incredibly unprofessional. There comes a time where you CALL your client and tell them you’re not coming, or you’ll be late. Since we were through the warranty, it seemed like he did not care if we ever got serviced or not and emergent calls came first, even though my claim came in that my A/C was not working on Monday, this is now Thursday. Similar situation last summer with the same technician. He then proceeded to call me back, thinking it was his next call, and start talking about how they “won the lottery because I cancelled” and then realized it was me. I’m sure he is overbooked and overworked in the heat and all the jobs, but be professional and call if you’re just not going to show up when someone is taking off work and arranging their schedule to be home when asked to be there. I do not recommend based off the unprofessionalism, and just straight rudeness from this man.
