Called Saturday to schedule AC service appointment on Monday between 9-11am. I took the morning off work to be there and nobody ever called or showed up. Called and rescheduled the appointment for 5-7 the same night and again no call and no technician showed. I lost half a days pay and the only reason I could get out of phone support was “we are overbooked.” Don’t use this company!
UPDATE: after two days I finally got a ARS technician to come fix my AC. It worked great for about 20 hours before, suddenly, the fan just died. The same guy returned to fix it, and declared the fan motor dead, and began pressuring me to purchase an entirely new system for $10,000 instead of paying for repairs. I opted for a second opinion.
When the second technician showed up, he opened my machine and reached inside where he was shocked by a MASSIVE spark of electricity. The first guy had left two live wires to my sequencer sitting right next to the control board, no electrical tape or any protective caps. This is likely the cause of my fan breaking down, as the live wires were next to the part of the control board that the fan connects to. ARS blamed water damage but there was none to be seen.
ARS installed my current system that is only 9 years old and they think it’s already time to pay top dollar replace it. If I have to pay $10K+, I will be giving it to a company that can deliver a product which lasts AT LEAST 10 years, who doesn’t dispatch negligent technicians who leave live wires that could potentially burn my house down.
Don’t use ARS. You’ll save a lot of money, time, and peace of mind.

We paid about 15k for mini splits to be put in our home that resulted in black mold. We still have black mold and went the full winter without heat. They made us pay out of pocket to prove the water damage came from a bad install job leaving a hole in my exterior wall for rodents to enter my home. We have a 10 yr 100% parts and labor warranty as well. They have not worked right since they were installed by this company 3 years ago. If I could leave them no stars I would. Still waiting for them to fix the issue. I have been sick for the last year and I am now on 6 different allergy medications just to try and breathe in my house. My Dr asked me yesterday after adding 2 more medications if I had another place I could live until this issue was taken care of. My husband also received a new liver in 2020 and has a compromised immune system on anti rejection medication to to stay alive. Not only am I sick now I have to move out of my home with no where to go.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! Had them do new new furnace and AC install. They did not even hook the system up to duct work so all cool and warm air goes out into crawl space. Called them to fix it ARS said it's not part of the install process (my nieghbors had same issue with same thing from ARS) I had to call another local company to attach it to the new system. They felt so bad they didn't charge us anything after they saw the shotty job that was done by ARS. I was hoping that would be the end of our "NEW" system nightmare but no I've had it for a year and had nothing but problems it completely stops working in the summer and only starts when it wants to. I call for what I was told was under warranty work but have to pay outta pocket everytime. They come out say it looks fine to us sorry bout ya but a new system shouldn't work for a few minutes to be down for hours. Please save yourselves and find another company!

We had a clog in our main line that had been causing backup for a few weeks. We got scheduled for next day service, very impressive right before Christmas! The communication was top notch. The technician, Mike called to let me know exactly when he'd arrive. He was exceptional! Explained everything he was doing and all of our options throughout the process. Professional and friendly. Got our line cleared in no time for an excellent price! Would highly recommend Mike and ARS!

Installation yesterday was very slow taking from 10:10 am until about 7:15 pm.....I was told to expect them between 8:30 am to 9 am and lead to believe the total job might take 4 to 6 hours ....I was promised an experienced company trained install crew............the technicians (there were two) were nice enough but I question how much experience they had since they often seemed to be going back and forth to their truck more than putting in the new system...putting in the new thermostat was especially puzzling for one of the technicians who was at that task for almost 45 minutes....I wonder if my job yesterday was the first job he has ever attempted to help complete......I thought the back plate for the new thermostat could have been better centered/displayed to not show the old wall thermostat spot....during the time that they were here there were lots of doors opening and closing along with phone calls being made to supervisors hopefully asking for needed help/advice.....I thought it was odd when installing the new AC unit they covered up the old run off drain the old unit was using and drilled a hole to run some tubing out to behind the washing machine .....wife was not thrilled when she saw that tube running out of the closed closet through a drilled in the floorboard hole but at least the closet sliding doors to hide the unit still close..... ....I am hoping the system performs well and I will wait and see if any problems develop...... Purchase price which included installation was very competitively priced with 3 other Indy area companies actively competing for my business.....

I have used ARS/Rescue Rooter since approximately 1994. I’ve encounter many of their technicians who have managed the maintenance of both my furnace and A/C systems, as well as plumbing issues. In fact, Jeremy was here today for my A/C check-up. I am impressed with both his work ethic and humanity! I so appreciate everyone affiliated with ARS/Rescue Rooter, from the office staff, to the technicians, to the specialist when my water heater tank “died” last Fall, and I was interested in other options to replacing with another tank system! I highly recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter!!!

My well pump went bad. The guys, Mark and Jameson, came out did an evaluation. They seemed knowledgeable and explained in detail the work that would need done and the parts that needed replaced. They came for the repairs and I had water up and running in about 3 hours. They were thoughtful, to keep the new pump hose off the ground to avoid contamination to my water supply. Nice guys, good work, So happy to have water again. I would recommend ARS. Oh ya, they let me see my old equipment, my broken pump. I took a picture. I found the whole job interesting and now I have a better understanding of how my water gets to me In my house. Thanks guys !!

Jeremey was great he came in and told us exactly what he would be doing. When he found a few things wrong , he explained things throughly and showed pictures of the issues that were time stamped . Didn’t say you need to get this done right now. Just was letting us know what could happen in the future. No pushing whatsoever.
I have used this company for over twenty years and they have always been extremely professional and trustworthy

We didn’t use this business because they gave us two different windows of time that they didn’t show up for. We wait for 8 hours and couldn’t leave our home as we waited. The excuse of “we are very busy” isn’t an excuse. That’s called overbooking. If your scheduled service men are at capacity, then don’t overbook. When an entire family is waiting for heat/hot water, then it becomes an emergency and you shouldn’t allow people to wait for 8 hours if you’re unable to do the repair in the promised window of time. We could have had another company out to help us.
