Plumber was friendly, professional and prompt. But pricing is what I'd have to call "gouging." $321 to replace a leaking toilet shutoff valve. Ouch.

Response to Howald's reply: You charge $95 just to show up, so when the plumber quoted me $321, if I had turned it down I would have been stuck paying $95 for nothing. No-win situation. (For me) When making the appointment I explained exactly what was needed, later the plumber told me they had flat pricing. I wish you would've told me that over the phone, instead I had to pay $95 to find out. It was a 10 minute job to install a $10 part, I just have no idea how you justify that pricing. If you really are "so disappointed" feel free to give me a refund.

Shout out to Howald Heating for provided outstanding service once again. Replaced corroded bathtub drain and cleaned drain. The technician, Sam, is the guy!! On time and courteous with experience. Front office personnel, Megan, very courteous as well. Scheduling was a breeze with follow up. Will use again for sure.

Ive used Howald for 10 years. They have always provided professional quality service. The initial phone call to Howald was answered promptly and an appointment was made for the next morning. Andrew came promptly, was very polite and knowledgeable and explained the next steps. He did NOT give us a high pressure sales pitch! He answered our questions.
He told us that if we chose to buy the water softener and have it installed, it could be done the very next day.

After he left he sent two different estimates. We have decided that estimate # 66302919 suits us best. We are very impressed with this company, and will send an additional review after the service has been completed.

The work has been completed and Andrew did a great job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants prompt, professional, courteous service, and a good quality product.

My sump pump went out and I was able to get somebody out to install a new pump the next day. Sam B. was very thorough in answering all my questions. He provided excellent service. I highly recommend Howald for sump pump replacement!

I had used Howald for a major sewage line repair/replacement last year and they did well so I went back to them today to replace an exterior hose bibb. Both jobs took place in our crawl space, not the most pleasant working conditions. I requested Arman as he worked on the previous job. He has a great attitude and is meticulous with his work. He installed a high quality, all metal bibb with a new water shut- off valve upstream of the bibb in case it needed work in the future. Job was completed within the estimate given by Steve. This is the performance you expect but don’t always get from contractors. I recommend Howald without reservation.

Had a pipe break to our outdoor spigot and they came to fix it. The man who worked on it was super nice and explained everything he was going to do/did and it looks great. Thank you!

I have only 38 years of experience with the company, but this is my opinion. Larry Howard and company are dedicated to providing superior service . The technicians are qualified professionals who have been in the business for years and like what they do. Not a chain or conglomerate focusing on revenue, but a small, established , well run company, with a solid reputation, wanting to do what they best.
