Terrible customer service. The subscription package is not worth the money, they sent an inexperienced tech to install my furnace which resulted in a gas leak in my home (the tech from the gas company described it as incompetent) as well as the unit malfunctioning with 2.5 years. Overcharge for labor hours. Never show up on time and straight up lie about how long things will take. Will never be using them again and I recommend you don't either!

The crews were on schedule and they done furnace repair. They explained what they were doing and how to interface with our HVAC system. Well, I was pleasantly feeling better. They were also in budget.
My AC stopped working on a 90 degree day and it was after hours. Topline was able to get someone out to me ASAP and the after hours trip charge was so reasonable compared to many other places I called of which many were double! To add to this, Sam, the responding technician left a lasting impression because not only was he prompt and knowledgeable but he went above and beyond. Helping both in the moment but also to share future concerns for consideration without ever pushing an up sell. And he was on point because I could confirm how cooling worked per room and much of what he expected to be happening with cooling my house as it exists today...was indeed the experience I was familiar with. He was knowledgeable, genuinely interested in helping (not pushing), friendly and polite. Because of this great experience, not only would I use them again and refer...but when I’m ready to upgrade to a more efficient cooling system, I would trust both the expertise and that I’m getting a good price. And trust them to deliver just what I need after truly listening to the customer. But ask for Sam! He’s amazing!
Company is TOP NOTCH. Our representative Todd Kurtz was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He went through our heating and cooling systems with great detail. He offered great solutions and we were very happy with his service. Highly recommended.
We recently had some problems with our hvac. It worked but had startup issues so I asked topline to come check it and do maintenance. Their tech arrived, I described the problem and directed him to the furnace. He opened the panels, commented on how old it was and it's probably easier to replace the whole thing. He did what looked like some basic resets and electric readings. I left him to it. He came back up and said it seems to be working so he couldn't find what's broken if it's working. Nothing was tuned and I was told another person would contact me to talk about next steps.
I knew this was off so I contacted another HVAC company while I waited for this consultant. The consultant showed up, ran down my replacement options and sent that to me in an email.
The other company showed up and actually looked at my furnace, cleaned it and found that the filter I had was dirty and not the right type for my furnace which is what caused my problem.
Topline was going to have me upgrade and spend anywhere from 7k to 14k all on a bad filter that they likely never checked. They get two stars for say least being nice and on time.
Won't answer the phone when you call, and your "free estimate" is only for a new purchase. It's $90 in actuality. If they're lying to you before they even pick up the phone then I don't care what they do after.
Do not use this company. Hard stop. They have missed 3 appointments without calling to let us know they wouldn't be available and put the burden on us to follow-up on their mistakes. Dealing with Diana, Marcus, and every other employee at this company is like talking to a brick wall. They say sorry but offer no explanation for their mistakes and just expect the customer to move their schedule around and assume the burden of all the inconveniences that they cause. I would rather deal with a cable company than this train wreck of an organization. They do not care about their customers and do not care that they don't meet basic standards of doing business. Avoid this company at all costs.
My wife had Marcus come out for an estimate and was very impressed with the experience. He made her feel very comfortable. He called beforehand to let her know he was on the way, he put shoe covers on when he came in, and looked over our entire system. I really appreciated how he gave us his direct work cell number, and told us to call him directly with any questions. He made several recommendations for our house's system, and found lots of discounts and rebates to apply so we could get a great price. I see why you guys have been in business for 20 years!
I came home to find I had no heat. I called Topline, and shortly after, Todd called me to let me know he was on his way. Todd was amazing! He was kind, thorough, and honest. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem and get my heat back on! Best service and you now have a lifetime customer!
