We called Trouble Free to come out and replace a water cut off valve that was bad. We determined this when we tried to replace the guts of the toilet and couldn't turn water off. The plumber came out right away but never called me to discuss work to be done. He replaced cut off, braided lines, and replaced the guts of the toilet. He was only supposed to replace the cut off and that was AFTER contacting me. He never called, just did what he wanted, then emailed me a bill for $550!!! I argued the bill and the owner "Dave" said he would only refund half of the $177 they charged me to replace the guts of the toilet. (we already had our own parts but he used his anyway. As though he couldn't figure out that we planned to do that OURSELVES???) So, the owner says only refund $88.50 of the $550 billed. So because he wouldn't do what was right and wanted to keep his $88.50 he just lost the business of 2 furnaces/ac units, as well as 2 water softeners, and replacing plumbing work and removing a garage shower. We were planning to drop thousands of dollars to this company. But no, they need their $88.50 too much to get any more of our business. I will be sure and spread the word to other landlords as well that may need their services. Just call someone else!!

My water heater went out during a winter storm so all our roads were closed for 2 days. When everything was open back up of course they were a little back up because they couldn't make any service calls for 2 days. Despite this, they were still able to come out and arrived 30 minutes prior to the 2-hour window. Joshua Burch who was the technician told me prior to the job what he was going to try to do and how much everything would cost prior to doing the work. He cleaned out the burner and ended up replacing the thermal coupler and the total bill was about $275 bucks. I was really happy that they were able to fix my water heater so I didn't have to replace it today and can say they gave an outstanding service!

Chris did a great job. Our furnace broke down late one evening. We called and he was at our home within an hour. Thankfully he had the necessary parts with him and our furnace was up and running. It was midnight by the time he got it fixed. He was very pleasant and professional. We are so thankful as the temps dipped into the teens that night.

My mother purchased a $12,000 HVAC system. She also had the “gold plan”, where for $19.95 per month you get free inspections of the system for maintenance.
When she sold her house in July, I called Trouble Free and cancelled her plan. The next month, they took another payment.
I called again. I was told the contract couldn’t be cancelled by phone. It had to be done in writing. I sent a letter.
The next month, they took another monthly payment.
I drove to the office and requested a refund. They refused and said they CAN’T give refunds.
I went to the bank to cancel the authorization and the bank was so disgusted by Trouble Free’s business practice they stopped payment and didn’t charge my mother’s account.
Trouble Free is not trust worthy and has the business plan of a scammer. Do NOT recommend.
UPDATE: about 6 weeks after taking all the paper work to the bank, the bank actually refunded the payment to my mother’s account from Trouble Free. I don’t think this can take place unless the company took the money in error. Trouble Free stating they cannot refund the payment was incorrect, the bank was able to do just that!

Skyler was very courteous and professional. He listened intently to my Description of what was going on with my furnace and promptly begin working to diagnose and fix the issue. He explained what he was doing and what he found was wrong. I was very impressed and will recommend Trouble Free to my friends.

Talked to them Monday made the appointment told them I had a clogged drain in my bathtub I tried to plunger it and use draino… standing water in tub… Sarah said no problem does 10am work for you Wednesday. I said yes and made the appointment. Sarah again followed up Tuesday evening making sure we were still good to go I confirmed the appointment for 10 am Wednesday.
Wednesday came and it was a different story. Shawna called me at 930 asking more questions pertaining to the work needed to be done. I told her again the situation and she said she would call me back. She did and stated they could not help me because of it being clogged and draino in tub.
If they would’ve told me this from the get-go I would’ve been happy to find somebody to help me get it out figured clogged toilet or clogged the tub is why you call a plumber for.When I asked to talk to a manager she said they were in a meeting and that she would take my name and number I was not satisfied with that since I’m a business owner as well and take customer service to a different level I guess I expect the same out of other small businesses. She then called me back and informed me that they could send out a crew to do that and yet charge me more money that’s after stating one of the higher prices anyways and I was going to use them based off of there ratings here on Google. Stay away total waste of my time and money.

The plumber was supposed to fix a wiggly tub faucet & install a shower handle at my mom's. Needless to say, after paying over 1k, the faucet is still loose and the shower handle was installed UPSIDE DOWN!
After this happened, my mom called Trouble Free to ask if someone could come out and look over things and the front office told my mom that they HAVE to send the same guy back out. My mom wasn't comfortable with having the same guy back out & was basically told tough luck.
My mom has low immunity due to two prior stem cell transplants and my husband & I are just now comfortable visiting with her inside her house due to covid. We are very disappointed to see what Trouble free has done/didn't do & are very dissatisfied.
