CRNE'S Environmental Control

Working with CRNE's has been a refreshing experience.
Starting with Joy, whose customer service excels! I especially appreciated her time and thoroughness in laying out expectations, and answering questions.
Technicians Al and Tommy were great. At the end of their initial visit, they walked me through the details of the proposed job....again, taking time to answer questions.
A noted detail is that the material is fabricated in house to "fit" the specific job. The end result exceeded expectation.
Everyone I dealt with took the time and care to address our situation....I value CRNE's integrity; the company and the people!

Mom’s A/C went out. Called CRNE, talked to Joy (amazing Custer service!). Joy arranged for a service call same day (it was over 90 degrees outside).

Tommy came out and was beyond professional. He told us exactly what happened, why, & how he would fix it. Personable, knowledgeable, trustworthy- I can’t say enough good things.

I can’t say enough about how great Cernes is! They are very helpful, and persistent in figuring out any problems I’ve had. The company gives off a very trustworthy vibe, which is important to me, not knowing much about HVAC systems. Update: I’ve now used Crnes for two years and their “trustworthy vibe” is still going strong. They really know the systems in my condo. Their customer service is amazing…… Joy and Tommy particularly stand out with their knowledge and friendliness. I’ve used ABC and Four Seaons in the past and Crnes beats them by a landslide!

I was in a situation where I had no heat all weekend and contacted CRNE on a recommendation. Al came out within an hour and provided excellent service and was able to do the repair within a few hours. I feel that they were very honest and I would highly recommend CRNE.

Tom, Allen and Joy have always been very professional, organized and courteous regarding work done at my home and at the Sauganash community church. I think Someone named Mike has also showed up before and has been excellent. I appreciate that they show up on time and have been able to efficiently solve any problems that might have developed. They have been consistent for at least 10 years now.

Crne's saved us time and considerable expense with a water tank about 5 years ago. We were told by at least 3 other companies that it needed to be replaced, but Crne's told us our warranty was still good so we got a new one. The installation was fast, clean and quiet. Fast forward to about a month ago, our other water tank bit the dust. Crne's quote was well below the others. We had a new tank hooked up within 2 days. He scoped out the rest of our system, noted that our humidifier wasn't connected, our Instant hot water wasn't connected and a few other things that our contractor just hadn't done or forgot to do. It has made a huge difference and I will use them going forward for sure. High quality work, reliable, straightforward, honest, thoughtful, thorough, very pleasant and the price is very reasonable. My technician Al was extremely pleasant and professional, Even scheduling with Joy was great. BUT, I am however disappointed, I was quoted an $89 service call fee, which was fine, but upon receiving my bill today after a simple fix, I was changed $139, which was outrageous and not what I was told.
If I needed work done then the pricing could have gone up I was told, but it was a simple wipe down/cleaning of my thermostat due to battery acid....$89 for a service call fee was fine, I expected that... but an additional $50 I was not quoted or told about?? And it was a 3 minute visit, I feel cheated on the price for sure.

CRNE is a terrific family owned business my neighbors and I trust to do our HVAC work in our condo building. Their customer service is excellent and anything that may need attention is explained very thoroughly and in layman's terms. I trust their expertise and find them to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I have never been disappointed with their service and highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace, repair or maintain their environmental equipment.

We have been using CRNE for our heating and AC needs for the past 10 years and we are very satisfied with the quality and service.

Recently, we had problems with our AC. They came out twice in an effort to save the unit during a hot spell. When it could not be repaired (it was 16 years old) they prioritized a replacement for us.

Their people are knowledgeable, prompt and courteous.

CRNE's has continuously provided us with commendable service-they arrive on-time (even early), diagnose any problem efficiently and provide expert repairs. Our technician, Steve and Al, showed up to our house on a freezing cold night in February and temporarily repaired our furnace until a new one could be installed. They arrived at our home that night 20 minutes after we made the call! Routine check ups are equally efficient and I always learn something new about proper care of our A/C or furnace in order to extend it's life expectancy. I highly recommend CRNE's to anyone in need of repairs, new equipment, or maintenance. Thank you!
