Wantuck's professionalism is so-so. This company installed my furnace and air conditioner about 25 (twenty five) years ago. And only recently, another contractor, who installed my present furnace and air conditioner explained, why those installed by Wantuck was so INEFFICIENT: Air conditioner had too small diameter pipes (tubes) connecting evaporator with the main unit, and furnace lacked a wire connecting thermostate with furnace what in effect caused that two-stage furnace worked like one-stage. Meanwhile air conditioner was repaired several times by Wantuck, most recently two years ago, and still nobody paid attention for that lemony.
On January 29 this year - 2020 I called for a furnace repair, and Wantuck serviceman ordered a part on my behalf, however meanwhile I decided to not repair, only buy and install new units. So, I asked for return that ordered part and to reimburse the paid amount back to my account. After eight (8) weeks they still keep my money and do not reimburse it. I have documents which confirm withdrawal by Wantuck from my bank account and the part order by Wantuck.

Wantuck has serviced my home furnace & air conditioner for the past 20 yrs. Last spring they installed both a furnace and air conditioner in a home I inherited. Later in the fall, they installed a new furnace in my home. I know that I can depend on Wantuck to service both homes promptly when needed and they do so professionally.

Wantuck is a great company, but recently, David C went above and beyond. I already trusted them to replace my entire A/C system. It was time to get a new furnace. The old one was 20 years old. Of course I picked Wantuck. Kristen came over, at a really convenient time, to talk me through all my options. Never any pressure with Wantuck. I picked my selection and David came with another person to do the installation. Turns out that the technology in my home was not talking to the new furnace. Plus, the previous owners had created serious challenges, in terms of wiring, etc. David went above and beyond to make everything existing work. He was on the roof, in the basement, back on the roof, then in the wall and around and around he went until he "figured it out". And he did. He just kept working until he figured it out. It is just something I don't see many service folks do. Kristen could not be more helpful and David made it all happen. I can't say enough about David and his work ethic and skills, and problem solving skills!

This company was very professional and considerate of my needs during a difficult time when I needed to convert my boiler system of heat to gas forced air during the polar vortex when one of the inside pipes burst. They were very diligent in performing their jobs. Very pleased with the experience and would recommend them.

Few requirements are as necessary for homeowners as a reliable HVAC contractor, and thank God that I have finally found the very best in Wantuck Comfort Solutions! When my twenty year old Carrier furnace recently took its last gasp, I phoned Carrier customer service for a recommendation on their best Chicagoland factory authorized dealers and was immediately referred to Wantuck Comfort Solutions. And now I totally understand why: this nearly fifty year old family-owned HVAC contractor provided me with the finest customer service I have ever experienced when they recently installed my new Carrier high efficiency furnace and thermostat. Wantuck gave me a highly competitive price on my new furnace as well as on my HVAC annual maintenance agreement, and even processed for me the utility company rebates for my new furnace. Owner Bill Wantuck provided an in-person assessment of my HVAC needs and---as was true for everyone at Wantuck with whom I interacted---was thoroughly professional, courteous, and efficient. After having owned four homes during the past forty years, I have dealt with a substantial number of HVAC contractors so I can authoritatively state that the skills and excellence of Wantuck service technicians Jeff and Jaime are unsurpassed. My only regret is that I did not have the advantage of Wantuck's outstanding service decades ago! But now that I have found them, they are the only HVAC contractor that I will utilize. After dealing with other HVAC companies, Jeff B. from Wantuck came out and solved the problem on /My Dunkirk Boiler. He was polite, friendly and most important ....did a stand up Job, and was knowledgeable and Professional. Highest recommendation for Wantuck !!

Repairman came did some adjustments. Problem still existed. Explanation was it was installed wrong for the Last 25+ years. To make this correction would be thousands of dollar. Don't call back until I wanted that done. Service fee for adjustments was $375. Note. Boiler was working fine for years. Minor replacement of parts. I released some water which I pointed was probably the problem in the first place. Repairman refused . Boiler working fine after removing water. With the condition the world is in today. Being a Senior Citizen (female) I feel this company was taking advantage of the situation. He agreed that his time was worth about $100 per hour. So he charged that and the problem was not fixed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE THEM A DONATION.

Alex did a very thorough job with the spring cleaning and checkup of the air conditioning system. He also did a good job of explaining a potential problem that is developing in the system and how to resolve it when needed.
