Kats Heating and Cooling

We’ve used Kats to replace our entire system at the old house and now servicing an older system at our new house. A+ all around. Louie was great!

This company is fantastic. I called to get a second opinion on whether or not my furnace needed to be replaced, and Giovanni made time to come and check out the furnace the same day. He was on time, professional, and honest about what I needed to do to keep my furnace running. I was very grateful for the superb service after another much less reputable company tried to scam me into buying a furnace from them through one of their salesperson "technicians."

May 2023 Update: I am still very happy with Kats Heating & Cooling! Luis G. was very professional and friendly when doing the Spring maintenance and cleaning on my A/C. Highly recommend this company and Luis.

Heater went out in the middle of December. Kats heating and cooling had some of the best customer service I’ve ever worked with. Knowledgeable, friendly, and quickly got a new heater in my house when it was most needed.

Isai was great to work with! He explained everything thoroughly and got our AC unit fixed and ready for the summer! I would highly recommend.

I'm going to save you all the word games and just right to the point.

I'm very OCD about the work performed by anybody, but first and foremost I'm all about supporting your small local businesses, they just take more pride in their work in my opinion. Helps that they're family-owned and operated.

Enter Kats Heating and Cooling. I initially made a call for MKDS Mechanical, found out they partnered with Kats Heating and Cooling, I noticed my furnace was making that dreaded knocking noise and being the middle of winter, didn't want to be without heat. I also knew my furnace while maintained, was beyond its expected life expectancy of already currently 23 years, so I after talking it over with the technician, Luis, I decided a whole HVAC replacement of the furnace and AC were the way to go.

I was presented with four options, and regardless of which one I was to choose, they were all quality. I spoke with the owner Giovanni a few times with questions I had about this and that, all were answered very promptly and simply.

I was explained thoroughly on my options, other ideas and ultimately no pressure to buy, and I kept myself in the loop with them even after they came back out to do the home measurements with Luis. All done that day within 30 minutes, and I made the first half of my deposit to get things officially scheduled.

I even had another scare of a gas-leak in my home (false alarm) spoke with Luis again and they kept themselves available to me should anything arise. That's customer service.

Come the day of the install, both the installers came on time within their window, started at about 830, kept me very informed throughout the whole process, kept everything neat and orderly, and were done by just about 430. In the process, I even spoke with Giovanni about a few concerns but just wanted clarity on, he called me and I wasn't expecting that really, this just shows the level of service they provide. They didn't rush, they took their time in getting it done right the first time. This is including from when they pulled up, did all the work, walked me through everything they did and what else to look for with a new HVAC install, to when they pulled out of my driveway with my second half of payment.

I've dreaded trying to find a reputable team that knows what they do, but won't take advantage of you. They're honest, reliable and do great work. Usually you're lucky if you can only get one out of the three.

PS: They also do water heater installation too, which may be my next thing on the list, but I already know who to call for that one.

Go with Kats Heating and Cooling, I'm glad I did.

Super responsive & knowledgeable. On a maintenance check, were told we needed a new furnace. At that point I looked at reviews because with such an expensive purchase you want someone who does quality work and also stands behind their work. Everything about our experience with Kats was excellent.
We will use them for everything heating & cooling moving forward.

Louie G. was the technician and I could not be more impressed. Skilled, professional, respectful young man with a great sense of humor. Furnace problem was diagnosed and fixed in 40 minutes. Signed up for a maintenance program with them immediately.

Eddy and angel were awesome. Our heat went out on a really cold night. We knew we were rolling the dice on this furnace based on the age. Giovanni came out right away and diagnosed lir furnace. We didnt really want to invest into such an old system so we ended up replacing. Eddy and angel were very detailed with the install. We also signed up on thier maintenance policy!! We couldnt be happier with our new system!
