Moncrief engineer Ken Heyde came out to inspect my furnace and air flow this morning to double check what my contractor said l needed. Some of what my contractor wanted matched but other significant facts did not...for instance, l did not need to replace my 4 year old furnace! He saved me thousands of dollars and l am confident the refinements he suggested will give me comfortable temperatures all year long. (P.S. l am firing my contractor.)
They were knowledgeable, on time and pointed out things that needed to be corrected to improve the load balance in my home. I was very impressed with how thorough and nice Ken the representative was.
I can always rely on Moncrief to be there when I need them. The other night I went to look at my thermostat and it would not light up. I called the office the next morning and asked what I could do. The nice lady told me she would send someone out to check it for me. They came out the time she said they would, and he immediately knew what was wrong. He put it in a fresh battery and it lite right up. I apologized for being so dumb. I should have read the instruction book. He said that was alright, it didn't take but a few minutes. I was fed up with the high pressure/scare tactics of my previous HVAC provider. Always trying to sell me something. Guess they were too “cool”. I found MONCRIEF to be honest, dependable and fair. I signed up for the Total Comfort Service Plan and I’m very satisfied.
