I purchased two new units from PV after two other companies visited and serviced my old units. With both of those other companies, I felt as if I was being scammed and being taken advantage of because I was a woman. One company attempted to sell (lease) me one unit for more than the cost of two units I bought from PV. While the other company tried to sell a used unit with no serial number as a new unit.

PV was different. Extremely different! I knew that after the company’s owner called me personally ON A SATURDAY to do a phone assessment of my needs and the urgency. After speaking with me and understanding my needs, he escalated my appointment by six days!

After my initial PV-experience which included the call from the owner and a home visit from my sales representative, James, I realized this company was on an entirely different level. Their professionalism, expertise, genuine decency and honesty, was consistent even after I signed the contracts. Five months after buying the first unit, I bought the second. Both transactions, were consistent with PV’s commitment to honest, professional, expert services and energy efficiency which saves me monthly on my utility costs.

The unit pricing was extremely fair for the two Trane units. The maintenance and bi-annual services thereafter have been phenomenal as well.

PV boasts a courteous and professional team from the operator that answers your first call, to the business and accounting team members, to the consultants performing energy assessments, to the no-gimmicks sales person, to the installers, and the maintenance teams. They are such experts that three days after the installation, a quality control manager does a thorough site check of the inside and outside unit.

An extremely impressed and thankful customer

We’ve used this company for a little over a year. We had a maintenance appointment scheduled for next week, but then had an emergency issue last night, which was a Friday. I submitted an appointment request online around 10:30pm, and they called me at 8:01am, one minute after they opened. I was very relieved with the response time, especially on 12 hours notice on a Saturday in July. Joseph was really nice and patient with me in explaining everything that was going on. They also texted me a photo of the technician ahead of time, along with a live tracker to see exactly when he’d be here. Very pleased.

Always a pleasure to speak to the PV team and they will do right by you. James H came out to see if I needed to replace an AC unit and instead of making an easy sale, he identified a few things to tweak and the 20 year old unit, probably now has an extra year. Really appreciate them doing the right thing for their customers. Will definitely buy a new unit from them when the time comes

One of my AC units went out on the
04 July holiday weekend. Learned of PV Heating&Air via a positive referral from Decatur Moms. Called 4 HVAC companies and PV was the only company with techs available to come out on a Sunday. The rep arrived at the appointed time and was able to complete the repair with a fair price.
I am grateful and much cooler today than yesterday. Would definitely recommend PV and use them again.

We've been working with for PV Heating & Air for about the past two years: First with for insulation in our attic and now for heating and A/C system service and maintenance. My husband was super impressed with the quality of their insulation work — he's in attics a lot for his job — and we especially appreciate the quality work our service technician Hung V puts in every single time. He's on time, professional, personable, and a rock star in our book!

David, Joe and Jason are the best at what they do heating and air. My wife noticed the AC was not working on a Friday afternoon Memorial day weekend. I contacted PV Heating and Air that afternoon they had a repairman show up on Saturday first thing in the morning unfortunately, with bad news I had to replace the AC and handler but that didn’t stop the guys. They had the salesman at my house later in the afternoon worked up my price on replacing the system and they gave me a great price on doing so I felt very confident with them. I did not call anyone else to look, they had me scheduled for a load calculation Tuesday morning when they were back after the Memorial day holiday he was there at 8 AM got the load calculation and they were installing my new system by 10 AM by 5 o’clock had everything replaced and working again I have worked with a lot of companies and they exceeded all expectations. I don’t know many other companies that would’ve had everything done like they did as quickly as they did. Thank you for everything you guys did for me my wife and my four month old baby, anyone looking to replace the system should look no further, thanks again guys you and your company are the best!!!!!!!

Way overdue on a yearly maintenance for our AC system, and knew we had some repairs to be done on the A/C unit. PV was easy to schedule with, and our tech Ahmed was prompt, easy to talk to, clearly experienced, and answered any and all questions we had without reservation. He performed a very thorough maintenance, and came up with the issues we expected to hear. They even took care of the repair work that same day, and at a reasonable price.

Overall a completely professional experience from beginning to end, I'm sure I'll do business with them again - PV has a local reputation for being a trustworthy vendor and I can now confirm that to be true!

I have been using them for years and they keep my a/c and heating running w/o problems. Yesterday I came home to find my A/c wasn’t working and it was 90 degrees out. I called and they sent someone out w/in hours. Leo fixed it and said it was covered under warranty. Great service.

Mike was very professional and showed attention to detail in fixing our AC unit. I am a quadriplegic, mostly homebound, and he was a very sensitive and attentive to my needs in getting our AC repaired in this summer heat.

PV HVAC communicates well and their people (front office to the technicians) are professional and friendly. The work they performed (maintenance and a repair) were performed quickly and with good quality. I have used them for years and will continue to do so. Thanks.
