I've been using Air it Cool for years. They are always on time and professional. Had a lightning storm knock out one of my units yesterday. They came by same day, diagnosed the problem, had the parts on hand, and fixed it for a reasonable cost. I'd recommend them to anyone!
Less than a year ago, my home warranty called them out to replace my blower motor. Now the motor died again. I called Air It Cool to see if they would honor the one year manufacturer's warranty but the technician was citing electrical issues and pushing for us to buy a new unit. We just purchased the home and didn't have the funds. We had the electrical checked and couldn't find any problems. When the motor was removed, the shaft was far too rusted for a one-year-old motor. We contacted them again but didn't receive a response. We paid to have someone else replace what we think was a used motor and now our a/c is running better than ever. Will never use them again.
After dealing with a no show repair company, I eventually called Air It Cool who not only had someone out there the same day, but only hours after my initial call. They were able to get my air running quickly even while working in the rain! Dealing with Florida heat is beyond uncomfortable; I am very thankful for what they did.
TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL: "NO COMMUNICATION and NOT RELIABLE"--"BUYER BEWARE"... On 6/23/21 (08:30ish AM), we called Air It Cool (John) and left him a message stating that our thermostat is set at 74 degrees and the house temperature is reading 78 degrees, we requested he call us back to talk about this issue... We never received any phone calls ALL day long (Noncommunication).... So, at 5:30ish PM (6/23/21), we called Air It Cool again and left another message stating that the thermostat was still set at 74, but now the house temp reads 81 degrees... On 6/24/21 (10:25ish AM), we called Frank (Air It Cool Maint Rep) and left a message asking him to call us... We never heard from him (Noncommunication)... So, at 1:20ish PM (6/24/21), we called Air It Cool again (our 4th overall attempt) and left another message stating we still had issues with our thermostat (it's still set @ 74, but the house temp reading is @ 81) and that we are still waiting for him to return his call back to us (Noncommunication)... Here it is 6/27/21 (1:20 ish PM) and we still have NOT heard from either John nor Frank (Noncommunication/Not Reliable) ... NOTE: 6/23/21 thru 6/26/21 were considered Air It Cool normal work/business days... In short, Air It Cool had 4 FULL working/business days to call us back but they FAILED to do so (Noncommunication/Not Reliable) .... The bottom line is: We have gone without AC since 6/23/21, only God knows how many more days before Air It Cool will finally return our phone call (get this issue fix) ... It does not take a successful business/company 5 business days to return a simple phone call... If so, that is NOT the type of company I want to do business with... If you want to live without your AC (for the last 5 days plus ?? more) and you do not care if the company returns your calls than this is your company... It is NOT for me, I'm looking for a professional reliable customer service-oriented company that's prompt in providing top quality service, even in returning their phone calls... Again---"BUYER BEWARE"....
I have a warranty on a AC unit my unit is only 2 years old, Tech came out to house and after only 5 mins of looking at unit I was told I need a NEW unit and it was not covered by warranty and he can get it done today and would finance the job.. Had a second opinion on the unit and found out I had a bad wire to compressor and they fixed it and it works great again.. This company is trying real hard to get your money and telling you that you need work done that you do not need... Shopper Beware. Just looking at other reviews it looks like they try to sell New Units to everyone that has a small problem...
Very professional company with excellent customer service! John answered all my telephone calls and many, many questions with regards to selecting and installing a new unit. I really appreciated the friendly and informative responses. I would highly recommend Air It Cool to anyone needing A/C repair and installation.
Awful place! Sold us a new unit that NEVER cooled the house properly from installation. Blamed the insulation in the house. Made many calls to them regarding the temperature and they said the coils needed to be replaced after 9 months. Charged us $500 to do that. This summer rolls around and again it’s 85 degrees in our house. I call again and they send some idiot out that says we again need new coils!! Are you kidding me??? Kicked him out and called another company. They had our house down to temperature in a few hours fixing the mess that company left. They outright lied to us about needing new coils and the gauges were never set up correctly outside which is why the ac never kept temperature. Reported them to BBB. Stay away if you’re smart!
Don’t like to share negative experiences but strongly feel the need to make an exception. Highly disappointed with the service I received this morning from Gary (technician) at Air It Cool. When we spoke yesterday afternoon we agreed he would be at my home at 10am this morning. I received a call saying he would be arriving an hour late due to traffic; one hour became two hours. He arrived at noon. Although I am generally ok with the tardiness, most companies I have dealt with in the past acknowledge their customers frustration by reducing their service fees accordingly (especially when the customer as such in this case will potentially be spending $6,000+ in the near future with the company). When I questioned Gary if there could be a deduction on the service fee he was very rude and highly unprofessional. He proceeded to place blame on me for living in Davenport, just on the edge on their service area.
Air It Cool - if you do not wish to service Davenport because it is on the edge of Polk or do not have someone local then kindly turn down the business in this area.
As someone who works for a property management company we used Air It Cool for the first time for one of our properties. It was a pleasure working with Air IT Cool, they were very friendly, prompt and did great work! I would recommend them to anyone!
