Was able to go online and pretty much find what I was looking for with no issues. When I called the person I dealt with was well versed and able to answer all my questions. When I went to go pick the unit up the paperwork was all done so it was a quick checkout. They carefully loaded it onto my trailer and made suggestion on how to best secure it.

Way over priced! My online order totaled $180. I used them for convenience last time. They called me and wanted to pass on their shipping cost increase which increased this order to $200+ I was able to use Johnstone Supply and get everything I ordered for $45!!!

I bought a top-of-the-line Mitsubishi mini split from budget heat and air. It arrived with “concealed damage”Meaning there was no apparent damage to the box or to the unit when we opened it at the time the freight company delivered it. The installer later found the damage under taping.
We started the warranty claim process and got nowhere with Mitsubishi. They expect us to Read their Website before you buy their product,go through a few clicks and discover in fine print how they basically don’t warranty online sales even if it’s a reputable company.
However budget heat and air came through and worked with their distributor and shipped me A new cover to replace the damaged one. Thanks for taking care of me, your customer ! Particularly Andy the sales person I worked with out of Houston was knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent customer service! Mike was so much help in selecting the mini split air conditioner I needed and the store was easy to find. Everyone in the front office was friendly and so was the guy who loaded my car for me. I would definitely buy here again.

BUYER BEWARE!
This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had buying on line. I live in Arizona and during a heat wave of 100+ days my air conditioner broke. It turned out that I needed a new compressor. We found the correct model on Budget’s website and ordered it. I received an invoice for the total cost, including shipping. I immediately paid it in full using PayPal.
Days later, after already thinking my product had shipped, I got another e-mail stating they needed more money to ship the package. I pointed out that I had already paid for shipping. They replied that on their web-site it states that shipping is an estimate. I in turned pointed out that no where did it state on my invoice that I was paying a deposit, the invoice was an estimate or that they could change the transaction after I paid the amount asked. I explained the reason I bought from them is that I am on a fixed income (their price was the lowest) and even a small additional amount would be a hardship for me. I told then that I had paid what they had billed me and please send my product.
After not having any further contact from Budget, I called back three more times. I was so frustrated and upset I finally gave up and asked a friend to try to talk to them. Finally, someone else was able to speak to the people in Florida, they said that they would not ship the compressor at the price I paid, they were going to cancel the order and refund me my money.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Our new unit is defective, I get no help from their "customer service", then to top it off, they have NO record of what Model or Serial number of the unit they sent us. I refuse to believe a "Company" has no idea of what they sold us... It has been 2 months and still no help from them getting the replacement parts, NO Call back after we have been promised time and time again we would be getting a call... I will be doing my best to make sure that everyone knows the practices of this company before they do any more business. As well I will be going to the BBB and Ebay and making sure they get all the emails and conversation notes between them and I. I strongly suggest never and I mean NEVER dealing with this company.

Falsely Accused! Purchased a "Return Air Box" not thinking that the condition I purchased it in mattered since it was going to be installed in the attic. I don't know how it's supposed to look from factory, it's a construction item. I only took the item into the house for a measurement. Didn’t install or touch it with any tools. With the measurement of the box and the rough opening, realized that it would not fit. Went to return it. The lady who took care of me at first was sitting by the front door. She got a hold of a salesman to assist me for an exchange. He took me to his office and politely got the correct size of what I needed. Going back to the front entrance, another lady accused me of installing the "Return Air Box" because the item had a couple of scratches, however the box came that way. I was accused of installing it, however it had no opening or penetrations. It only had the tape that was on it when I purchased it, which of course I didn’t think it was important, just part of the manufacturing. I didn't even purchase tape nor did I have any. I was just told by my friend of what I needed to get and that's what I got. I was then told by the second woman that two of their employees signed the paperwork at the time of purchase, in front of me with a “return box” with no scratches or tape. She went on to inform me that it was given to me in pristine condition. When I initially purchased the item I was only assisted by ONE person and I returned the box in THE EXACT SAME CONDITION THAT IT WAS SOLD! She threaten me with the video from the cameras verifying the condition of the purchase. I did not flinch and said "great, the video will verify that I'm telling the truth." She then changed her mind and would not allow me to see the camera footage. She denied the return and told me to take the box with me or it's going in the dumpster. I was then asked to leave the premises or she would phone the police. I then asked for her name. Which she claimed to be “Holly” and wouldn’t give me her last name. I was courteous and polite the entire time. As I was leaving, the lady who attended to me first had an embarrassed look on her face and apologized to me. Which in return, I said she didn't need to apologize because she did nothing wrong. AFTER SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY!!! P.S. I left a review on their company website which needless to say, has not posted yet...I wonder why???
