Would never use another AC company. Bay Area Heating and Cooling is the best. Had a new AC unit installed last May by another company. When it came time to switch to heat for a bit, the unit did not produce hot air. Had thermostat check and was told it was the thermostat. Purchased a new thermostat, installed it and still no heat. Called Bay Area Heating and the sent out the best service rep. As a result, it was not the thermostat but the installing company never connected the heat part of the unit. Eddie was the best. He is so personable and knowledgeable. He has a very, very pleasant manner and explains the problem and what he did to fix it. This is the company for your AC/Heating needs. Thank you Bay Area Heating and Cooling. By the way, the nice lady who answers the phone is terrific.

The heat wasn’t working and I called Bay Area for help. Shawn showed up shortly after I called and fixed the issue quickly. I am very pleased with how professional he was and how responsive Bay Area Heating and Cooling was. I highly recommend them!!! A+++++

Updating my review from 5 stars to 1 star. The team did a great job installing my new system but left me in the summer heat when it broke. My evaporator started to leak in July (very hot in a Florida summer) and asked for a technician to evaluate. My system ran 24 hours a day until it died, leaving us with no A/C. Bay Area told us that they could not get the parts until October due to Covid. We had to use 4 portable units to get our home to 80 degrees. I was told that they would contact me if they were able to source the parts sooner. After a month of getting the run around, I called Trane directly to confirm the shortage of parts. SURPRISE, they had plenty of inventory. I called Climate Design (Recommended by Trane) and they repaired my system in a couple days with brand new Trane parts. If it was not for Climate Design I would have gone the entire summer without central air. It seams that Bay Area H&C is only interested in making the big bucks for the system replacement and not interested in making the client happy and making repairs. Avoid these guys like the plaque.

I had Rob and Adam install a new Trane A/C and gas furnace in my home and they did a great job. I replaced my Trane system that finally died after 15 trouble free years. Looking forward to the increased efficiency and enjoying all the new tech that has been added. The high tech thermostat connects to WiFi and has an app to control it. Rob and Adam were very professional, got it installed quickly and did not leave a mess (I think they left it cleaner than when they showed up). Rob built up the compressor so that it would not be swamped when my neighborhood floods and it looks like it can survive a major hurricane. Adam got the furnace and inside components running great and air tight. I could not find a pin hole air leak anywhere. All that cold air is heading in my home. I'm glad that I had the best guys on the team assigned to my project! I would recommend Bay Area Heating & Cooling for anyone looking for a new system.
