John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning is the only company I will ever consider for my AC. Before I used them I had a bad experience with another company and I called John C Cassidy and they were better in every single way. I spoke to a human being the first time I called and someone was at my house way more quickly than I would have imagined. They were knowledgeable and were able to help right away and they have been a pleasure to work with ever since. All of my immediate family uses John C Cassidy AC and I've sent a handful of friends as well. I could not recommend them highly enough.
I would not trust this company I used them for maintenance and service and when I had a problem with an AC unit they did the wrong repair and did not flush out my system. When I then had water damage they offered a solution of over $3000 . I offered another suggestion which they refused. Another AC company came out and fixed the problem for $130. Despite many calls they refused to listen and now are charging $95 for an old service call 2 years ago and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Be careful with this company.
We could not have asked for anything more from John C Cassidy. We signed up for their "Cassidy Cares" program over a year ago and it was time for their routine maintenance checkup.
They reached out to schedule a time to come by and showed up promptly. After analyzing our two units inside the house, the technician had recommendations on how we could reduce monthly expenditures.
Plus, they were able to efficiently do the job with out much assistance from us since we had our two young children running around.
Bad experience. I hired them to replace a broken thermostat. We agreed a price of $200 for the job, which I paid. They had to send four different guys on four different visits because they couldn't figure out how to replace a simple thermostat (which they themselves had installed 4 years ago). This wasted lots of my time, sitting around at home waiting for them, and then explaining to each new repairman what the problem was. Then they had the audacity to send me a bill for $1,600. I called and complained but they keep sending the bills. Naturally, I cancelled my account.
Terrible. Do not use!! Had them come out and fix a leak. Paid them almost $600 then immediately after they left the ac wouldn’t work. They came back out to fix and I was told it would be no charge since it was their fault. Well I was billed another service call and so I called to dispute. Instead of them calling me back after multiple calls and emails on my part, they sent me to collections. Not only are they not good at ac repair but they are horrible at customer service
NOT Truthful - I have been using this company for at least 6 years. Recently, when the HVAC was no longer cooling, I was told that the compressor was on its way out. They repaired it temporarily and gave me a quote for thousands of dollars for a new compressor - mind you, I would have had to hire a crane to get it to the roof-top. I called an honest company that told me I have a leak in the freon line drier - maybe a $50 part. I climbed up onto the roof to see all of this for myself. All I'm saying is, make these people SHOW you WHAT is wrong. You MUST go look for yourself. It's common sense, unfortunately, as you cannot trust everyone that owns a small business. If this helps one person, so you KNOW to go and LOOK, then I've done my job. I will leave the other company an extremely positive review!
John C. Cassidy ALWAYS comes through in the clutch for us! Their team, from John to Bill on down to the technicians are first-class. They have always been honest with us, fair, and I love that they talk to us and give tips/explain what the problem is. We use them for both maintenance and emergencies and they have never disappointed! I would recommend making John C. Cassidy your first and last name in air conditioning.
VERY PROFESSIONAL, GREAT QUALITY WORK! WE HAVE USED SEVERAL TIMES ON OUR REMODEL PROJECTS (LINEAR A/C REGISTER COMPLETED BELOW). I WOULDNT RECOMEND ANY OTHER COMPANY.
Today had a whole new unit installed, including the 2nd story roof air conditioner. I want to commend Jason & Daniel for the superb professional job they did! Respectful of my home, keeping me informed on everything, answered all my questions, and did a complete clean up. I'm very impressed with everything about this company!
I am posting this review for Gene Rayfield at his request: Regrettably, after having Cassidy install several new A/C units, I had a very unsatisfactory experience. During the last installation, one of the copper pipes was not sortered correctly and a small leak developed. Over time (6 months) Freon had to be replaced, which I did. When I asked Cassidy to repair the leak, they refused to accept the responsibility. The service manager, Ron Wilcox, was unreasonable and defensive and simply refused to own the problem. They could have quickly fixed the problem for $100 cost to them, but instead they chose to lose all my business.
