I called two days in a row for service. Was told that dispatch would call me back in 30 minutes each time. The first time the call rang once and I answered and then the call disconnected. A text immediately followed stating the service call would be pushed to the next day. The following day I called and was told dispatch would call to confirm in 30 minutes. No one called but the service tech showed up later that afternoon. I sent him away as another company had already helped me. Horrible follow through.
Very happy with this AC service. Needed service on a Saturday and they sent a tech (Marcus) out very quickly. Marcus was great and had the AC up in no time. Thank you,
AVOID One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating. The treatment by their phone support and their technicians is really quite insulting. On two separate occasions I had them come out and perform a simple annual maintenance on my residential A/C unit. I asked for the checklist of items that the technician would look at and address when coming out, but their phone support couldn't provide me with that and said the technician would. When the technician arrived, he also refused to provide a checklist in advance, but said he would list everything he did on the invoice afterwards. Multiple items he claimed to have checked and performed were in fact never even touched. I know this because "somehow" two weeks after this maintenance—on a unit which was running perfectly for years without any maintenance—I needed a $700 repair. After the repair was complete, the technician who performed that noted that the filter and coils were dirty and needed to be cleaned—both items listed on the maintenance invoice which had allegedly been completed. When the repair failed and another tech came out, he said the same thing. I decided to give them one last chance and have them perform my annual maintenance this year. The technician who came out didn't even understand what I meant when I asked for a checklist of what he would be doing. The first thing he did was remove my filter and poured chemical cleanser all over it and then sprayed the dirt and cleanser all over my grass. When I asked him to do it on the paved area with drainage he denied spraying on the grass at all, even though there was dirt and bubbles all over the grass and side of my home yet somehow the filter was barely even clean. When I saw that his plans to clean my coil appeared to involve simply spraying a huge up into the coils and allowing some hastily set up yoga mats to catch the runoff, I asked him to leave. I really like the parent company, but One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating is sullying their reputation in my community. I would never recommend them to anyone and I recommend that everyone AVOID One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating at all costs.
Although today my unit was not repaired. The two techs that came out were real pros and did their best to get my unit back up and running. I would use recommended them and will use them again if needed in the future.
My outside fan went out and I called One Hour the next morning. Sam was there by lunchtime and fixed my ac and quoted me a very reasonable price for parts and repairs. Very happy with the service all around and will use them again!
Antoine was very professional and explained everything to us of our current system and some issues to be alert to in the future. He is very knowledgeable but was able to explain in layman’s terms! Will ask for him specifically at our 6 month tune up.
They were able to come out today within a few hours of my call The technician quickly identified all problems with my air conditioner and fixed them properly. My AC now works perfectly. I highly recommend this company.
Diagnostic evaluation of condominium A/C unit with rooftop condenser. Contacted the company on Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon I was scheduled for Monday between 8-10am. Elvin, the technician, called by 7:45am to let us know he was on the way. By 8:05am he was in our condo to evaluate the problem. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He showed us pictures of the corroded rooftop condenser where the fan had broken off and fallen inside the unit. While not the news we wanted to hear, Elvin readily contacted the office to promptly schedule an estimate for later this morning. Thus far, I would recommend this company based on the prompt, professional, competent service exemplified.
Anthony Lemons, our regular Maintenance expert ,for a number of years diagnosed our problem and Diangelo H and Jean B spent 10 hours almost non-stop installing 2 new units solving complex issues. They were punctual, considerate and skillful. Kudos to One Hour !
