R & A Industries

Folks at R&A did a fantastic job installing a brand new unit on my attic and taking away the older unit. We had some small issues and after contacting them they took care of it very quickly. I am happy with their install and the service they provide. Chris is an excellent employee for R&A and both Brian and AJ are professionals as well. I recommend this company to anyone who needs a new install or repair on their HVAC system.

I LOVE this company. Everyone I've worked with in the Oviedo area has been friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. I've especially appreciated Donna's help in the office. She has worked hard to get my problems fixed as soon as possible. She's even talked the guys into squeezing me into an already full schedule. Thank you Donna! Brian has also been amazing. He always makes sure I understand all my options, tries to lower my cost any time he can and answers all my questions honestly and completely. I also love that they do all the paperwork for the warranties. We only moved to Florida a year ago but I have worked with several other local HVAC professionals in that time, I love that I'm on a first name basis with the R and A guys. Now that I know they do electrical and plumbing, they will be my go to company for any electrical and plumbing in the future as well. Thank you for being awesome. You guys are my favorite (don't tell my kids:)

UPDATE: Despite the good experience I had with this company a year ago, I have changed my rating to reflect their recent service after having them out a second time.

I had R&A Industries out to install an over the range microwave with a convertible vent. Upon calling them to inquire about installing the microwave, they indicated they’d have to get back to me as they weren’t sure if their employee could perform that task. On a side note, microwave installation is not even a service they list under Google Reviews. Once they got back to me stating they could, I scheduled the service to be performed by them for $445.

Upon arrival, the employee indicated to us that it was recommended we have ventilation from the microwave directed outside of the house. The employee also didn’t realize he was installing a microwave and outlet. He thought he was just hanging a new one. He indicated outside ventilation wasn’t required but recommended. We knew it wasn’t required as this was the reason we purchased a convertible vent microwave so the vent could be adjusted to direct the exhaust into the kitchen without the need of outside ventilation. If they knew anything about microwave installation, they would know this.

Once the installation was complete, we ended up having to call the merchant we purchased the microwave from as we had noticed fine scratches all over the plastic portion of the front face. We didn’t initially believe it was from R&A but now believe it was after this whole ordeal. The merchant agreed to replace our microwave and this time we had an installer from that merchant come out to install the microwave for an additional installation charge as they had not performed the original installation. When the new installer took down the microwave installed by R&A, he indicated to us that the convertible vent had not been flipped which would have caused the exhaust to vent directly against the underside of our cabinet which would have resulted in the microwave burning out over time due to insufficient ventilation. When we asked for a discount or refund on the installation charge due to the microwave being installed incorrectly, R&A indicated they would not indulge either request.

If you are looking to have an over the range microwave installed, avoid this company at all costs. They clearly didn’t know what they were doing, and this should have been evident to us when they initially expressed uncertainty as to whether their employee could handle the task.

We had a dishwasher installed and Wes The tech arrived on time and was courteous and helpful . I highly recommend R and A for any type of plumbing installation or repairs

Ryan was in time and fixed our AC in less than an hour! I recommend R & A 100%!!

Luis was excellent He reparied my outlet and I am now back up and running to work from home.

I recently had an AC installed by R & A Industries. This company did such a great job. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. If you need an install this would be the company to go with. They are trustworthy and reliable. Special thanks to Alan Jones who made sure everything went smooth with the job. He was very helpful and his responsive when I had questions was immediate.

I got a A\C unit and air handler replaced by R&A Industries today. The service technicians showed up on time a ready to go. They explained what they were going to do perform in great detail. When they were done they went over any questions I had. The area that they were working in was cleaner when they left than when they got there. I’ve had R&A do plumbing and electrical work for me as well. Always 5 star. True professionals.
