My upstairs HVAC system failed last Wednesday. I called Koontz and they had someone out to look at it early that afternoon. Unfortunately, the 12 year old unit was on its last legs. Phil and Pernell came out Friday morning and installed a new system by early afternoon. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and took great care to protect our home. They were simply OUTSTANDING!. Also, Jennifer in the main office made sure I got the sized system I needed and answered all of my questions. She is the BEST!

New Carrier AC was installed early June by two great installers Brenda & Pariel. Big shout out to both of them. Hard workers. Good company all around. Very accommodating.

Brenda & Wayne installed a new AC/Heat system in our home. The are invaluable & excelled in every way! These guys are super helpful. The tech came out to service our AC was on time and very professional. We renewed our service plan with them. Priced reasonably as well.

All-Around Phenomenal service!! I called in the morning, and they came out the same day to repair my AC! It was a temporary fix as I needed a new AC (mine was 25 years old). They ordered exactly what my house required with a great price!! They ordered the Ac unit & handler the same day. When it came in a late afternoon, I was put first on the list the next morning!! With ALL the challenges of COVID19 across the country (businesses with low stock, employee challenges, etc...), Koontz Heating and Air exceeded expectation. Also with concern for all, theybwore masks and were very considerate. My family has been local home owners for 30+years in Volusia County and have tried several AC companies. You need not look any further than Koontz Heating and Air. Thank you so very much!!

Brenda & Pariel came to install a new Carrier HVAC unit. They were courteous and meticulous. Explained everything and showed us anything we needed to know. We would definitely recommend them.

Purchased a new A/C unit and installation. Brenda and Perill were excellent as well as office staff. Very happy with the system and experience.

Koontz was the only service company to call us back after hours. Their tech, Larry, was dispatched within an hour of contact (even though there was some confusion the night before with their answering service stating they don’t take emergency calls past 9pm?!). He came out, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it the next day. He was here on a Sunday so that’s the only reason they couldn’t get ahold of the part and fix our issue the same day. He returned on Monday morning and our system is up and running.

Our home came with a Koontz system installed. Unfortunately we are outside our builder warranty so we had to pay out of pocket but it was a reasonable rate. We signed up for their maintenance plan as well. Full disclosure, we have been unhappy with the system since day one and I’m typically against hiring a company for maintenance services that installed the product. My feeling is they’re never going to find something wrong with it since it would be putting themselves at fault.

BUT, Larry is by far the best HVAC tech in the business so he saved Koontz on this one. Even though this process has been bittersweet, Larry has made us happy and we will continue to do business with Koontz because of him!

Have known Chris since he installed 2 state of the art Bryant Heat pumps in my new home in 2006. He worked with me to design a system that would provide the best and most efficient cooling, heating, and dehumidification available. He replaced my 2 Ton unit in 2017 after a power surge destroyed the " board ", and my 4 ton unit in 2020. His prices were excellent and his service is outstanding. I highly recommend him. -Julian B.

Bob was awesome. He came and got our AC up and running quickly. He talked to us and told us about certain maintenance we should do and showed us how to do it. Service was so great we are going to purchase the Twice-A-Year Air Conditioning Maintenance.
