A few days ago my downstairs AC stopped working. Koontz got someone out here in the afternoon. The problem was the blower motor. They had a different motor in the truck, and offered to put it in temporarily till they could come back with the right motor the next day. I saw no need to have the tech work in the 120 degree attic just to redo it all the next day, and the house was OK with one AC. The next morning at 8:30 (they called when they were on the way), they came and the motor new motor was installed. There was NO CHARGE. I didn't remember there was a warranty, but they did.

This is typical of the honest, excellent service I've had with Koontz. I can give numerous stories of how they creatively solved problems that have come up with the various systems I've owned. They have kept old systems going they didn't install, put new systems in, and talked me out of things I didn't need. I have used them for over 20 years, and have never had a reason to change. AC's in Florida are something you need to survive. They are vital and you need good service you can depend on.

Customer service is wonderful and professional. Koontz is Very prompt with service. I had them replace my old AC unit and they had someone out same day to set up a quote and had it installed 2 days later. Very fair pricing as well. Technicians were awesome, on time, very friendly, and cleaned up everything after.

The only AC company I will ever use! Extremely professional and friendly staff. My mom had an issue on Christmas Day and Bob came out and repaired within 30 minutes of her call. I had an issue on New Year’s Day. My unit was only 6 months old, turned out to be a thermostat issue. Service call and repair were all covered under warranty. Repaired New Year’s Day and no charge. Aaron was in and out in 15 minutes! Thank you!

I woke up to the fan running but no cooling. I called before 8:00 and the answering service took the initial call. They opened at 8:00 and got a call back in 20 minutes. They were able to get someone out the same day. I was working and could not take the day off. Jenn in the office worked with me and called me 30-45 minutes ahead of the technician coming out. This allowed me to leave work for a short time and get my A/C fixed. When the technician showed up, he had it fixed in literally less than 10 minutes. I had placed a call to another service as well and I still haven’t heard back from them. Thank goodness for Koontz and Jenn in the office. We will be forever customers.

Have used Koontz since I built my new home in 8/2006 and my daughter's. Worked with Chris Koontz to design system in my home- 2 units plus active returns in all bedrooms and 2 main returns. He is extremely knowledgeable and a great person to work for. His installers and techs are extremely knowledgeable and if they do not know the answer they are not hesitant to call the a/c vo. rep.for guidance. Hey just replaced 4 units in

Koontz sent Amber & Aaron to remove and replace our HVAC. On time. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Did a great job and neatly done. Cleaned up after job completed. Patiently went over everything before they left. Koontz is a great company. Have used them several times. Satisfied every time.

I highly recommend Koontz Heating & Air Conditioning. I moved into a home with an old unit that started to have some problems pretty quickly after I moved in. I knew I needed a replacement, so I called Koontz and they really took the time to hear what was going on. They came out and installed my new unit. They were very professional and took the time to make sure everything worked great. I will definitely be using them with any future needs.

Koontz Heating and Air has always been fair and responsive for the past 15 years that I have been using them for one house. Several years ago, I purchased a second home in Ormond and they installed a new AC and I am very happy and satisfied with them overall. They always answer the phone in a friendly manner and/or get back to you right away. They always fit you in within an acceptable time for a service call time. The technicians are skilled and know what they are doing and look over your entire HVAC situation. They explain their findings to you and you get a detailed invoice of what they did. (Excellent for a rental property owner) I have had their yearly maintenance plan on both properties for many years and they keep the units working properly and efficiently. (The weather is very hard on units which are beachside!) You really can't go wrong with Koontz. They are skilled and reliable. I have Never had a concern or problem in dealing with them many years. The other places will always tell you you need a new AC which in fact your AC could be repaired if maintained.

Built a brand new home 4 years ago and they installed our AC units through ICI Homes. We have now had them come out over 7 times to repair the units. They only give you a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. The products they installed in our new home are now under a class action lawsuit. When the technicians come out to repair the problems they tell both myself and my wife that this manufacturer is the worst in the business. I will never use Koontz AC to build my next house with the dishonesty knowing their putting in horrible products. I will continue to let everyone I know about their terrible dishonesty and never willing to help a customer that has been deceived since the house was built. My neighbors are also dealing with the same problems with their units because of poor quality. Horrible business practices and very dishonest. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I used Koontz to install my Trane heat pump and they have maintained it for the past ten years. From the office staff to each technician they are the best. Thorough and efficient service with a goal of customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Koontz for all your heating and air conditioning needs.
