Quinn was excellent again, I was glad to see him! He was on time, professional and even looked at the other units on my house and fixed an existing issue for me with a smile. Highly recommend this company.
This is the second time we've received great service for our commercial businesses. The tech that shows up is professional and friendly. Thanks for getting us up and running so quickly! This is the only AC company we will use and strongly recommend...
This Company is the best company that I have ever dealt with. Everyone from the ladies that works in the office to the technicians that installed our united are very courteous and polite.
Finally a company that is not only service oriented but also delivers a great product and a fair price. We are very happy with Josh and AC1 Heating and Cooling and will refer them with pleasure.
Quinn did a fine job for me, but the air handler coil crash at 10 months old is discouraging. Waiting over 14 days for the replacement part is really sad.
Although we were pleased with the initial install of our unit in Oct ‘22, it did not pass inspection. The Dunedin inspector has been to our home 3 times and the unit has not passed inspection 3 times. AC1 has been difficult to work with even though we have been careful to give them our schedule (we have been here 5 out of the past 6 months). They do not return phone calls and since we are snowbirds we are returning home with a HVAC unit that has not passed inspection by the town of Dunedin. This last issue was regarding a proper label and an untightened wire. The label they left was difficult to read because it was written over with a marker and looked very amateurish - it was basically illegible. AC1 couldn’t find a way to get this done in almost a month’s time. We are mostly disappointed in their inability to properly communicate with us, and of course their inability to get the job finished. This is no way to do business.
What a mistake! They so damaged and poorly installed the system I could not even get anyone else to work on it. The entire system has been replaced by Badger Bobs and is working wonderful. Avoid the owner Doug and don't offend the lying son that kept topping off my leaking system since install.
Update as of 5/14/23. It’s been almost a year and since service follow up and it’s working well. No issues deserve to be upgraded.
11 months ago- Let me share by saying that I just recently paid to put a new AC system installed by AC1. I am only going to comment about the recent service and to separate the install in a separate thread. First, I recognize that everyone is short staff, given high season and amount of calls going out its something that we all have to deal with. I had a new unit installed, the next day I had insulation put in. In between the time that AC was working to the time insulation. Somehow the AC breaker got turned off. I have no idea, how. Anyways as a homeowner for a newly installed service, one would not know of this or the reason why. You can only assume that it was something had to do with the unit. As it turns out it was simple as breaker being turned off as the culprit. That being said, I will take responsiblity for this..however it was NOT related to installation (Cross-fingers).
The reason I have given lower ratings is that it has taken more than 2 days to get service. If you have had your AC and cannot stay in the home, its simply unbearable. Being understaffed is simply not a good reason in my opinion on why service cannot happen sooner, Hoping this will not be a problem in case something really goes bad with the unit.
Anyways.. My installation will be in a separate review. Waiting for some time to pass before I can give an accurate and fair asssessment.
we purchased a brand-new 5 ton unit for our home, a $9000.0 top of the line Amana, thinking we had made the right choice in choosing AC1 as our go to company. little did we know that our brand-new unit was going to take a dump a year and 4 months later. the response we received from AC1 was that of a response you get from a used car sales rep. they are not responsible for the performance of the unit, and if anything goes wrong with it! it is your responsibility to pay for the labor! none of these items were ever mentioned during our buying process. long story short! we asked AC1 to order the part and have them install it. their reply was the part was going to take 3 weeks to arrive and $765.0 dollars to install it. 3 weeks in the Florida summer heat! imagine that? that was the last we heard from AC1! we managed to contact a small mom and pops AC company and in less then 3 days we had our AC back up and running and for only $375.0 the moral of the story is " Buy from a smaller AC company because they depend on customer satisfaction to survive, were as bid companies such as AC1 don't care because they have large selling power, just like a used car sales company"
