We ran out of oil on a very cold Saturday. Gault was there within half an hour of us calling. Then a technician came to flush the boiler. We are so grateful for choosing Gault. Great service that keeps us warm and is there for us when we need them.

We had an issue with one of our heating zones going out -- not cool, especially in February in the northeast. My phone call to Gault was answered right away, a tech was to our home within an hour, and thirty minutes later he had replaced our water circulator. Overall, it was an unpleasant situation the Gault team helped us resolve quickly and painlessly. Our protection plan that we purchased through the company covered everything.

Today’s visit was from a very nice propane gas specialist who was appropriately wearing his COVID-19 mask. He came to change out and hook up an LP hose from an old gas grill to my new one. Although the hose fitting was seemingly frozen in place, he had it off and changed and tested in under 10 minutes. I have been a happy customer of Gault family businesses for 5+ years (heating oil and propane) and highly recommend them for their professionalism and customer service focus.

I've had my Generac 20KW generator since 2012. It's worked without fail each time we lose power and automatically turns on every week at exactly the same time for 15 min weekly check. But I needed to have oil filter and other parts replaced. So I signed up with Gault for generator annual maintenance service. Technician came out and looked at it for all of 5-10 mins and gave the generator a clean bill of health. Two weeks later, we had a power outage and the generator did not turn on. We called Gault and they said the control panel needed to be replaced and have no idea what happened between the time they gave it a clean bill of health and two weeks later. I emailed and called for explanations multiple times without response or was told someone would get back to me. No one got back to me which prompted my calling and asking. Finally was able to cancel the service contract and was told that I had to speak to a manager about the UNAUTHORIZED charge on my credit card for the service call that was never explained to me. Had they provided excellent service, I would have likely have them take over all my home energy/ HVAC needs. I have lived in Westport for over a decade and would love to support a local company but they have lost my trust. I want to add that I did eventually get a call back from Gault. I spoke with Ronnie and Brent. They were informative. Gault should be glad that they are part of their team.
