Water leaking from boiler during the storm where we also had no power. service rep was at our house within an hour the call - replaced the valve and would not leave until boiler came back on - which took awhile. I dont prioce shop because the service we have gotten at least 3 times was great

The furnace cleaning we had scheduled months in advance was deleted by Petro's computer system. Fortunately I called the morning the cleaning was to take place and was told this kind of deletion was a problem Petro's tech staff has been working on for a long time, unsuccessfully. Petro did manage to get our cleaning done later that same day and apologized, which I appreciate, and told me I would get a call when the technician was on his way to do the cleaning. Petro did not call. The technician called me and said he was at our garage door. A related gripe i have with Petro about furnace cleaning is how long it takes to get an appointment. We wanted the cleaning prior to the heating season but couldn't get anything till Feb. 22, which is the one the computer system deleted. If they could squeeze us in the same day, why wouldn't they squeeze us in on an earlier date that we really wanted? Plus, why is Petro's oil price still so high while oil market prices are going down significantly? Petro's service people are great, but Petro is very expensive. And the service plan cost keeps rising every year, which I was told is intentional and apparently not based on any factor other than how long we've had a service plan with them. In other words, the increases are planned and have nothing to do with what Petro has done for us. I know, I know, companies lure you in with a low price service plan and hike it every year you stay with them. It's a ripoff, like car and home insurance. Those companies do the same thing. So the answer is to switch to a company that wants to lure you in with a lower price. Anyone, the problems noted above make me want to take a look at what else is out there for oil companies.

We had "no heat" in our living room and called the service at 7:30PM. with in an hour, the Service technician Max came and he was very professional and knowledgeable, found the root cause in minutes and he fixed it. greatly appreciate the service
