Our hot water heater completely died, Ryan F. Murphy and the men who came to my home were very informative and straight to the point. They were so respectful and came to do job within reasonable time. I highly recommend them! Great guys!!

WOW!!
Let me set the stage for you. We lost our 20 year old central air system because the compressor seized up. Our neighbor uses Murphy Heating and cooling out of New Milford and we reached out to them. The time of year was a complete killer – August, with very high humidity. All the wood floors, the railings felt like they were sticky and tremendous water condensation on pipes – all around miserable. Jimmy the service manager had come out the previous weekend and pronounced our compressor dead, and had Ryan provide a quote. It took us about a week to settle on a system that was available due to the supply chain disruption from COVID (and us having to find the piggy bank)! Given that our system was dead, Ryan and Christine helped us out immensely by enabling a Sunday install. From the time we signed the contract (Thursday) to install (Sunday) was three days. Here is the kicker though and why I think they are a phenomenal operation – By Thursday evening a hurricane warning was issued for our area with landfall predicted for 2pm on Sunday, the day of the install. We groaned and assumed that the installation process would be postponed. We did not hear back though about postponing the install and assumed that it was still a go. At 6:15 AM on Sunday John and Johnny, the installers, showed up as promised and at the exact time we agreed to! Incredible!! They worked for some 6 hours on Sunday with rain and wind, and we were up and running with a new Trane/ American Standard 16 SEER unit. They cleaned up behind them, and the new system brought down the humidity and temperature in the house – YAY!
I am writing this review on Monday morning because of the very positive interaction and alacrity with which Ryan Murphy was able to help us out. Obviously, the system has a year long warranty and if any issues come up, I am very confident Murphy heating will back up their install. On a side note, as I was talking to the installers they spoke very highly of Ryan and described him as an incredible boss. It is rare in this day and age to get service of this caliber and I for one am grateful and thought the least I could do is share our experience with all of you!

The service manager Jimmy, Christine in the office and the rest of the team are fantastic. A true group of professionals who did everything possible to help during such an extended heat wave. In addition to their kindness, consideration & trustworthiness, their pricing and quality of work is the best you will find in the area.

Called Ryan Murphy Heating and Cooling, (based on 2 unrelated recommendations) in January for an annual service on our furnace and again now in June due to an air conditioner that wouldn't work. From the first phone call it is clear that customer service is a priority. They return calls promptly, schedule service quickly. The technicians are prompt and knowledgeable and personable. They explain everything in understandable terms. I have learned something new on each visit. This is a company that wants your business and proves each time that they deserve your business.

From the moment I decided to leave the BIG local named Oil company and was referred to Ryan Murphy, the entire process has been great. That was a few months ago and I just had my service performed. Wow! Can't believe I put up with the BIG local oil company for so long. Thought because I was a loyal customer fo over 20 years, that I might be treated differently. Nope!!! Ryan Murphy now has my loyalty, and I hope if I ever need them in the middle of the night, I'll have their loyalty to me! Outstanding!!

Ryan Murphy did a fantastic job installing our central air system. His team is very professional and efficient. Christine in the office is also super friendly and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Ryan and his team are wonderful- very professional, polite and patient. They explain everything that they plan to do. We had Ryan and team replace our aging air conditioning system last year and could not be happier with the work. Recently Rob corrected an ongoing issue we were experiencing with our furnace since the annual cleaning done by another company.

Anthony at Ryan F. Murphy was great, figured out the issue (set up was done by a previous company) and fixed it quickly, then did a check of our other units, answered our questions and made us feel better about this system. It was installed and maintained by another company but we had issue after issue with them and finally decided to trust a new company and so far we're thrilled. Plan to use them going forward.
