A&S Nathan Heating & Cooling

Had A&S in yesterday for seasonal furnace maintenance. Good service. While there I asked if they could install a water pressure sensor that I had purchased myself after getting a quote from them previously and finding it marked up 3 times from what I was able to purchase it for from an online plumbing supply house. Received a call today that they would not install a customer purchased part. Guess I will find a new company since I have many furnace repair parts I have stocked after a previous emergency repair alerted me to the markups.

Today I had an issue with heat and called A&S Nathan for a service call. Was told that due to my comments in the above review they would not provide service... Enough said

I have used A&S for several years now, mostly for general system maintenance but also for replacement of a tankless water heater. They are always on-time, professional, and do great work. It's difficult to find a quality business with quality emoloyees, but this is certainly one of them.

The A&S team is always helpful and professional. They recently took time out of their already very busy schedule to replace my furnace so my family could have a warm house again. The work was swift and neat. We are very happy.

A and S Nathan has very experienced service technicians, who take the time to answer customer questions and concerns. This business is very honest in their determination of what work needs to be done, and they don't try to sell you something you don't need. So the customer is respected and valued. We've used A and S Nathan for several years for heating and A/C maintenance, and recently for maintenance on our tankless hot water heater and replacing our furnace humidifier. We've decided that A and S Nathan will be our heating and cooling contractor for many years to come, because of the work quality and how responsive they are to our requests for service. They are great to work with!

Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this company.
They do not take any responsibility for their work. Call them twice to get price for work, that was recommended by their tech..
Was told by one woman that another already called me, which was simply NOT true. Too many people answering phone and blame another for the incompetence. Completely agree with other NEGATIVE reviews. Can not depend on company that is so poorly represented, disorganized and does not follow thru.

Our 94-year-old steam boiler failed losing all of its water and becoming totally inoperable. We never used A&S Nathan Heating & Cooling before but decided to give them a try because they were nearby and said that they worked on steam systems. Jake, one of the owners, came out to determine what needed to be done and provided us with an estimate just an hour or two later. We agreed to the proposal and were given an install date of about a week out. We were told however that the company would do its best to begin working on the project sooner because they knew that we did not have heat and realized how cold the outdoor temperatures were. A&S Nathan came through and began installing our new boiler six days earlier than the scheduled work date. The following day, at 3 PM, we were feeling the warmth of heat from our radiators and new boiler. Everyone with whom we dealt at A&S Nathan Heating and Cooling, from the owner, office staff, and technicians; were professional, friendly, and efficient at providing us with a great experience and all of the heat that we needed. This experience may have been our first with A&S Nathan, but it certainly will not be our last.

We have been using A&S Nathan for several years for yearly furnace cleaning and this was our first need of emergency furnace service.

On 9/23, I called A&S Nathan at 913am as our furnace was leaking water.
The phone staff were so reassuring to this frantic caller and promised to send a technician ASAP, between 10a-2p.

Mark, the technician, arrived at 1022 am. He quickly and throughly assessed the situation, stopped the leaking water and determined what would need repaired. Mark was professional, knowledgeable and patient with my multitude of questions. He made sure we had hot water until they return next week to complete the repair. Thank you, Mark!

Great company. Would highly recommend! Wonderful people from the ladies in the office to the installers and servicemen to the owner.

I set up an appointment with Debbie, who was very kind and had two excellent techs out to the house. They repaired and performed maintenance work on my A/C in a professional and timely manner. I was completely satisfied with the service and the value I got for my money. I trust A&S with my home repairs and would recommend them to do the same for you.
