Wonderful experience with Express Pros! As small business owner’s ourselves we didn’t want to use a company we had seen in commercials or heard on the radio. We chose a local company that came word of mouth which is what we too prefer for our customers. Express Pros came highly recommended and were quick to answer our call, get us on their schedule, and notify us of their arrival on the way. The technician was both professional and knowledgeable, explaining to us every step of the diagnostic process and then a quite thorough description of what needed done to get our furnace functioning again. The price was much better than anticipated and we were happy to agree to the service! Our furnace is running great and we’re happily warm in our home and ready for the holidays. Thank you to the team at Express Pros we will happily shout your company out to friends and family!

2 stars because despite the challenges we faced, they kept coming back out until it was fixed.

Disclaimer is that I used them through my home warranty company. I'd strongly encourage Express Pros (EP) to terminate their relationship with Home Warranty companies that they are not prepared to navigate effectively. It benefits no one. In my situation, we lost days from when our unit could be replaced due to poor documentation of the issue by EP in the home warranty system. I had to have ~5 group calls between home warranty and EP to walk EP through how to submit something online. On multiple occasions I was told, "Xyz would be submitted today", then it wasn't submitted until the following day, often incorrectly. Here's the real crux of the rating if you've read this far: EP installed a new AC unit but neglected to install a new coil in the furnace to be compatible with the new refrigerant. The new coil was covered under the home warranty and was part of my statement of work. So the AC line froze a day after install due to refrigerant not being disbursed appropriately, and I was initially told that they didn't add enough refrigerant. So they add more refrigerant. Next day comes and AC line freezes again. They come out, I'm told that there was an issue with the "brand new coil", related to how it's supposed to distribute the refrigerant. They said they'd have to get the warranty part from the manufacturer to replace it. Ok, no problem. 2 days later they come back, and I see them removing my 20+ year old coil from the furnace (see picture)! So I ask, "was a new coil not put in last week?" And they said no, they forgot..... There were also itemized items that I paid for which they didn't complete until I called them out and walked through each item one by one. I could write a book about my ~1 month experience.

Long story long, Express Pros, please seriously consider terminating your relationship with home warranty companies. You have good intentions. But you don't have the office staff to effectively navigate the claims process, and it seems like you don't have the field staff to effectively handle the increased volume that you have from home warranty claims.

I'm just not sure how the quoted price can be justified. I was quoted $8,000 for a water heater replacement and was able to find the exact unit I needed from home depot + parts for less than $1,500. Even if the Unit were to cost $3,000, it's just hard for me to find $5,000 worth of labor in a job that absolutely took less than 6 hours. Shop around to a place that will work with you on sourcing and price, you'll save money even with the cost of price estimates.

It was one of the coldest nights so far, we had just arrived home when our furnace went out. The only problem was that, it was after hours, luckily we were able to contact Express Pros; these guys, they were all very friendly and quick to help. Josh, he especially was a very hard worker and vey helpful. 10/10 would recommend these guys again, will use them in the future.

They were very responsive and communicated well. Technician was on time and called when on his way. Was very informative and knowledgeable. Felt that he gave his honest opinion and provided all options for maintenance and level of severity. I definitely felt that I was provided all the information and options to make an informed decision.

I rarely ever post poor reviews unless it’s absolutely necessary. We used Express Pros through our home warranty policy and put in a claim on September 7th. They said they were only down to one technician for the week of our appointment and were understaffed, which I completely understand. I wasn’t frustrated that they had to reschedule their initial appointment to two days later. What I was frustrated about was that when we had a window of the tech coming from 8-12, and when it was 11:55 with no update on when the tech was coming, we had to call our home warranty company. They 3-way called Express Pros and a woman with a nasty, unprofessional, rude attitude answered the phone. She said verbatim, “okay, so what do you want me to do? Ask the technician not to come anymore?” We weren’t calling to complain, we just wanted an update as we had to work from home two days prior during their initial consultation, the next day that they rescheduled but never showed up, and the next day where we finally had someone come out to look at our AC. I’ve had to call our warranty company to see if they entered the claim to add more refrigerant and a sealant that Jason told us he’d need our warranty company to approve. Jason was nice and helpful. Jonathan, who I was able to get ahold of was also nice and apologetic. That’s why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. We called Express Pros today to see if they were able to call in the claim to add more refrigerant and I can only assume the same woman answered the phone saying they already put the claim in the same day as Jason came in. I called our warranty company to confirm and come to find out Express Pros cancelled our work order without any explanation. Two weeks was wasted waiting for someone to look at our AC. I do not recommend.

In my experience Express Pros stand out from their competitors. Very professional and highly competent. I have used them on several client projects in Evergreen, and Denver metro area. Ranging from repairs, maintenance, new heat/air units. I will continue to refer them to family, friends, and clients. Thank you guys for your hard work!

Express Pros was great! They replaced my HVAC unit and worked on my furnace to help the furnace run better. They took great care to look at everything and I have had no issues with either since using them.

I updated my review to two stars because after writing the review the issue was resolved, but there was still a month after the initial appointment where there was no communication about waiting on the home warranty company or waiting on a part as the owners response indicates. I can be understanding if kept in the loop, but all phone calls mentioned in the owners response occurred after writing a negative review. My initial appointment was on June 22 and I did not receive a call or appointment notice until July 22.

They came out to service my AC unit a month ago and I have been trying to follow up after my diagnostic appointment and I have been unable to reach them, even after I was told it would be a quick fix. Would not recommend since I consider AC issues to be time sensitive and the communication as to when they can schedule the next appointment is nonexistent.

We have been working with Express Pros, specifically Josh, for most of the last year. Josh and the team have diligently worked to help us repair malfunctioning components of our hydronic (radiant-floor) heating system. Additionally, when we wanted to do preventative maintenance and replace some components with enhanced efficiency versions, Josh took the lead to identify the parts that would deliver the greatest return on investment, acquire and install them. But the best support came when our boiler fan broke this past weekend. Josh was out first thing Monday morning and quickly identified the fault. It looked pretty dire and he wasn’t sure if a replacement part was still available (the boiler model had been discontinued). He diligently searched options, identified a part, and sourced it (bumping us up in the waiting priority in the process). He was out the next morning and had it up and running in an hour or so. We were back to having heat (important) and hot water (critical)! Josh ensured he communicated with us each step of the process and made us feel more than just business customers. Express Pros is on my shortcut list of phone calls, but I’m confident that after the great care Josh has provided us, it’ll only be for an annual inspection and tune up! Thank you, Express Pros and specifically Josh!!
