Summit Heating & A/C

In Oct. 2021, we purchased a 40 year old home from the original owners. While it looked like they took immaculate care of the A/C system, when we fired it up in May, it seemed like we weren’t getting adequate cooling. We called Summit to help and they sent Shane Sperry, who couldn’t have been more helpful. As new Coloradans, we had MANY questions about heating and cooling in general and more questions about our aging system. Shane took his time and gave his full attention as he answered each and every one. He reviewed the system in detail and provided several options for us to consider on how to maximize our setup. We were so impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. He cleaned out our system and ran several tests to ensure it was functioning properly. He even talked us through options for when we are ready to replace the system. He was very knowledgeable about the advances in energy savings available and talked broadly about what he’s seeing in new builds and customers that have opted for solar. Shane’s experience and service were so excellent that Summit has gained us as customer’s for life.

Our heater stopped working in our home, so i contacted Summit Heating & A/C to see if they could address the issue. Shane S. did an excellent job in fixing our furnace, very professional and did a high quality job cleaning up the furnace and replacing the bad parts. I also learned a valuable lesson in having yearly maintenance completed on the Furnace and AC. Thank you for the great service and getting me on the maintenance plan. I had such a wonderful experience with Summit! Our AC went out over the weekend just when it’s starting to get out out. Shane S. came out on a Sunday and was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable and very personable and was able to fix our unit that same day. I would definitely recommend Summit to anyone looking!

Can't say enough good things about Carlos! So far he's replaced my water heater and fixed a bathroom faucet that wasn't getting hot water, and he really goes above and beyond with his work. Responsive, on time, professional, friendly, knowledgeable... I hope not to need his services again too soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him and the Summit team for all of my plumbing-related needs.

I've used Summit Heating & A/C for my routine maintenance so when it came time to replace my furnace and add a whole-home humidifier, Summit was my first call.

Jeremy did a great job with the design consultation and walked me through the options and pricing. I appreciate the no-hidden-costs approach to their pricing and the thorough discussion of the available options. I decided on a package and scheduled the install for the following week.

Shane and Jack did the install and were exceptionally professional. They explained the reasoning behind their decisions and made sure they were doing the right thing, not just the easy thing. An example of this was when they were deciding how to route the exhaust: They could have taken the easy way out and routed it out through the nearest wall but my deck stairs were nearby, so they advised this wouldn't be best due to the damage the moisture and pH of the exhaust would cause. Instead, they routed the exhaust through the crawl space and up the wall out by the A/C condenser which ensured the exhaust would be out of sight and wouldn't cause damage. This was extra work and extra material but was undoubtedly the right choice, and this is reason I keep using Summit for my HVAC needs.

I would absolutely recommend Summit Heating and specifically Shane and Jack to anyone needing HVAC service.

Jake and his crew did a great job installing a tankless water heater in our house. They were professional, quick, and clear communicators, and quickly resolved a minor change requested by the inspector.

The only downside of our experience was that our initial surveyor understated how intrusive the venting pipes would be. We're still happy with the solution, but it does take up more space than expected. We will gladly go to Summit Heating again, but next time we'll request a more precise picture of exactly what the end state will look like.

We had such a good experience with Summit Heating & Air Conditioning when we got a new air conditioner last summer that we turned to them again when we needed a new furnace. Technicians CRAIG and CODY did an excellent job for us. Arriving on time, wearing masks and foot covers, they laid out tarps to protect floors and carpets and proceeded to do a thorough job removing the old and installing the new furnace, and cleaning up when done. They answered any questions I had about the process and Craig did a good job explaining how to operate our new thermostat. BRIAN, who came to assess which replacement furnace would best fit our needs, also did a good job of making sure our needs were met. Based on consistently high levels of service we will continue to look to Summit for our HVAC needs.

I had a great experience working with everyone at Summit Heating & A/C. My furnace went out on Monday night and they were willing to come by that same night. I worked with Chris (very responsive, helpful and straightforward) to determine my options and I decided to replace my 17 year old furnace. The new furnace was installed and running by Thursday and I have been completely satisfied. I was lucky enough to have the two owners running the install and it was obvious they really cared about the quality of work. The installation was quick and they even made a few other "extra" fixes and enhancements to the furnace setup like fixing the old drain spout. I would definitely recommend this company and specifically Chris, Bill, Dean and the staff I spoke with on the phone for scheduling. Thanks!

I am beyond pleased with Summit. From first call, to job completion everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. We had to replace both the AC unit, and furnace. Craig and Sal showed up right on time. They were both friendly and respectful of the property. Once the project was finished, they did an amazing job cleaning up. I think the work area was cleaner after they finished than before they started! A big shout out to Craig and Sal for a job well done!
