Summit Heating & A/C

I was very impressed by their professionalism and, more importantly, by doing the right thing.

I contacted them via Yelp, and they were incredibly responsive and immediately provided me with a reasonable quote. They came out and did a thorough inspection but, in the end, recommended a replacement. I knew the furnace was getting due for replacement but kept hoping for "just one more season." ;)

Before their quote, I researched ballpark ranges on furnaces, and they came back within the expected range. With installation and permitting, a mid-range, high-efficiency furnace ran slightly under $9k. Unfortunately, I had a water heater that sat right in front of the furnace, which they had to drain and move. Not necessarily too big of a deal; however, I had a lot of work done around the water heater, including adding a new pan to bring everything to code. Sadly, despite the technician's best efforts, the new pan now looked like a train ran over it.

I know it's just a pan; however, all the work to bring it all to code and have it looking nice, especially since I just replaced it, felt disheartening. I love a nice, clean utility room. When I called, I'm sure Summit was like whatever and probably rolling eyes, but even if they did, Summit did the right thing; they came out and replaced the pan. To me, that speaks loads for a company! And why they deserve a 5-star review. Thank you for doing the right thing, no matter how small; I truly appreciate it!!!

Jeremy was quick to diagnose the issue and schedule the repair. David & Donald came by to complete the work and they were great as well. Always a pleasant experience working with Summit.

Doug and Dean are very shady and should not be trusted. They even felt comfortable telling me how they refuse to hire women in any of their departments due to the drama they present. Misogynistic leaders.

Prompt, efficient, and professional service, both with the office and the field staff. Been fortunate to have James on two successive site visits, and he is a pro.

All of the Summit crew were easy to work with, authentic, and professional. Jason was honest about repair costs vs a new heater. He connected me with Donny, who spelled out what the new heater would entail. Jack and Sky were efficient and thorough with the installation, clearly explaining its use and upkeep. Don't usually do reviews but this group with great!

Carlos Barbosa did a fantastic job installing our new water heater. He was professional, on time, and did a swift job getting our hot water up and running again!

After the upstairs AC in our house suddenly stopped working over the weekend, we called Summit Heating and had Craig M. out to our house first thing on Monday morning. Craig arrived on time with a call in advance to remind us of his ETA - he quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue with our furnace (condensation pump blockage), explained the issue to us and how to fix the problem in the future, answered all of our additional questions, and even gave our puppy lots of pets and attention! Our furnace is located in a very tight space in the attic, yet Craig was able to quickly maneuver and manage to diagnose the issue within a few minutes. He was very professional, informative, efficient, and respectful therefore we will definitely use Summit for any future HVAC issues. Thanks Craig!

Summit installed a replacement A/C system for us at the end of last October and did a very professional job. (They had installed a replacement furnace for us 2 years ago, and we were very pleased with that work as well.). Today, since it was now warm enough to test the new system, their tech Shane came out to make sure the system was ready for the warm weather ahead. He is very professional and knowledgeable, and a great ambassador for the company!

Carlos, Hector, and Lance did an incredible job on a heat pump water heater and EV charger install for us! We constantly felt as though we were in capable hands and they took the time to explain each step of the process for us. We are extremely satisfied with the result and will be using Summit again for any future HVAC and electrical needs!

Summit's people are great. We have a multi-level house, which made it difficult to run the AC lines between different areas. Amado and Gavin worked very hard to get our installation right. They are resourceful and determined. Our AC is working and is a big improvement over the swamp cooler we used to use. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
