Alright, so maybe this is the way these guys operate. I had some air in my boiler. Call em out for an inspection and to purge it.

Guy couldn't be bothered to do that. He stuck his carbon monoxide meter INSIDE the boiler unit, below the exhaust. Inside the exhaust stream. "Oh, you've got a problem." And wrote me up a quote for a major service. $4000+

Here's some of the things they quoted:

Replace Zone Valve ($807.00)

This is a honeywell unit that retails for $78. It's a 30 minute job if you're sweating pipes. But the unit is just a part swap. I know. I've done it.

Tridicator ($245.00)

This is a pressure gauge. $25 part. Screw on and off in 5 minutes. None of this passes the sniff test.

Anyway, I got a second opinion. "They're being dishonest. That is not how you measure CO. They're trying to rip you off. I recommend you replace the auto-purge valve just hook up a hose and purge the system. We can do that, or if you've got a hose and some wrenches, you can do it yourself. Pretty simple, honestly."

We had Rob and his crew come out to install a 4-room mini split A/C system, and they did incredible work. It was a pretty big project but they were so easy to work with from scheduling all the way through the installation. Rob was always accessible and helpful with questions, and his guys were on top of all the details.

Highly recommend them for any heating and cooling needs. We'll definitely have these guys back out for boiler service in the winter!

Rob Fling and his team are punctual, thoughtful, and have mini splits figured out. They've done installs at 2 properties for me, and nailed it each time.

The furnace was installed by the seller before we purchased the house this year. Quality West came out the same day and repaired the furnace and honored their 1 year parts and labor warranty. Chris was very friendly and professional and didn't lolligag around. Our 1st experience with this company was great!

Hearing that you have to replace your entire (residential) HVAC system is not something that anyone wants to hear, but it is one of the inevitable joys of home ownership. Soon after I bought my house, I learned that my system had been installed incorrectly, wasn't to code, and was not likely to last too much longer. There is only one place that I would go - Quality West. My family has had boiler work done with them and had excellent results, so I expected nothing less.

The crew came out on the hottest day of the year, and my back yard area where the compressor goes is an oven - it must have been 120+ back there. No complaints. Excellent work. Everything works perfectly, and my bills are about 30% cheaper than I anticipated. I'm grateful and will use them again, though I hope not too soon!

I have been a long time customer with multiple properties serviced by Rob and his folks but became unhappy with the high cost compared to other providers and the repeated work . I purchased 2 AC units from this company for the same house since 2014! The last quote I got from them was another AC unit for a different house and was 50% higher than the price I paid to my new go to HVAC company. Apparently, this upset Rob because when I called to get some warranty work done, I was told I was on the "no service list" due to an unpaid invoice. I have not received a single email, phone call, statement in the mail asking me to pay any invoice and when I asked Josh what was owed, he ultimately hung up on me. Note I have spent well over $20K with this company so if they will treat me like this, imagine how they will treat you. I did try to work this out with the owner but he has not returned my call.

Rob and his crew did a great job of putting in our new boiler. They went beyond what any other company would have done,including labeling everything and mounting all pipes on stainless steel covered plywood. They are resonably priced, neat, and clean up after themselves. They treated our home with respect. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great people doing excellent work. I can't say enough good things from the start of this process with my estimate, to the completion of the work, my place was left in the condition it was when they arrived to work. My new system is such an improvement over what I had. The people at this company, in my opinion, are 1st rate. Their knowledge of boilers is why I went with them. They were very helpful in explaining my new system.

A repeat customer since 2014. They provide annual maintenance for my air conditioner and furnace. They've also provided service on my water heater. Wonderful company.
