The two gentlemen that came out were very informative. They were professional and friendly. I was able to get our appointment with them right away. What a nice surprise! I highly recommend this company.

Mike helped me diagnose the problem with my shower and quickly located the leak in the water line and was able to fix both issues. I highly recommend Mike and Mac Vik plumbing.

Had a good discussion with Marius who seemed very knowledgeable. I learned a great deal about the relatively old, but state-of-the-art in its day, heating system for a house that we just purchased. I have not yet received the invoice, so I cannot comment on whether or not the cost was reasonable. Hopefully it will be. I do appreciate Marius' willingness to show me different issues and respond to my questions to learn. I state 4 stars rather than 5 because there was lack of clarity on the time I was to meet Marius; it was not explained to me that the time period quoted was when he may arrive, not when he would be at the house doing maintenance. Once Marius arrived and we cleared up the confusion, all was good (assuming the the costing is reasonable).

I needed a minor repair to our heat tape on our roof. Jessie was very pleasant, very efficient, and completed the job as quickly as I could have asked. He lived up to every expectation and more.

Kitchen sink faucet failed during thanksgiving prep. Jacob came within 2 hours of my request for service. There were pipe and fixture problems and Jacob analyzed and solved the issues. The faucet needed replacement and Jacob was very skilled in moving quickly to resolution, overcoming all obstacles to a competent solution.

Absolute superb service. Promptly answered my call when needing service. Cambrea was amazing when answering all my questions and concerns about my project. She sent out Barry to my home to provide excellent service and I got just that! If you are wanting a fair company who will go above and beyond I would recommend Mac-Vik to all my friends and family :)

Great experiences thus far! My go to choice. They did get some dirt on my carpet, but amazingly and as you would expect professionals to do, they sent a third party cleaning company at no cost to touch up the mess!!

Called them on a Sunday. My heater was working intermittently. While waiting for the service call, I replaced the thermostat. The heater seemed to be working ok, so I called to cancel the appointment. My call went to voicemail. The tech showed, so I told him I thought I fixed it and would call them back. He charged me for the call anyway ($189). I asked if they'd waive the call if I had to have them return. They said they would.

The heater continued to have problems, so I called for an appointment the next day. The tech showed, cleaned the flame sensor, but the furnace still had intermittent operation issues. He said he'd have to call and retrieve the part. They charged me an additional $278. The furnace seems to be working fine, but I checked online and it turns out I can purchase this part for $20. So, I spent $467 for two visits and a $20 part.

2 years prior I had similar problems with this furnace. Another company did the service call. They said my controller board was bad. They replaced it ($1500). The furnace continued to have problems. They came out twice after that, and on their 3rd visit they cleaned the flame sensor. The furnace seemed to operate ok. So, it seems their replacing the controller board was unnecessary.

I can't point the finger at Mac Vik too much, but c'mon. Lesson learned. I've figured out a bit about furnaces, and before I call anyone, I'll be sure to thoroughly check the obvious out before I call anyone.
