For the cost I paid for 3 bathrooms and replaced all counter tops was not worth the money for what I received it was mediocre at best. You know the old saying you get what you pay for but in this case I got far less than what I paid for. I was in a rush to get it done to sell my house and what I got for the price was not quality work. I was told they have their own certified workers but they do not they hire contractors. I WILL NOT use Sears again. I have had a running battle getting things fixed over a week leaky toilet and new installed frig does not dispense water. They do not get things done when the say they will. Go anywhere else but here to get your improvement done

    *Update 6/28/19*
The contractor was supposed to show up between 10-11am, per the manager Gabriel. At 11:15, I sent an email to several managers who had been CC'd on a previous email, stating that he had been late before and I would not sit around and wait once again. I left and received an email from a manger stating the contractor was on his way and way 5 minutes away and that he "should" have called, but he did not. I re-stated I was no longer at home, and got a reply from Gabriel saying Juan was at the jobsite and asked how I wanted to proceed then if I wasn't home. I said that Juan was half an hour late to the jobsite, which has happened before, and that he could wait and I could be home in 20 minutes, or they could refund us for the hole in the drywall, toilet, and outlets and we will fix the rest ourselves.

I was told that he would wait, and when I got home Juan never apologized for being late. None of the managers apologized for him being late either. Not surprisingly, the dry wall and outlets were not addressed and I assume it will be fixed when the countertops are corrected. After having the audacity to be late after everything that has happened and not receiving an apology from the contractor or a manager, it's an understatement to say I'm repulsed by the "customer service" and regret allowing this company into my home. We'll see in a couple days whether the toilet is finally fixed after leaking 12 out of the last 14 days, for a total of 3 1/2 weeks.

    *Update 6/26/19*
I have finally been contacted by a manager after posting on social media and several review sites. I was once again told the toilet is "fine" and told that the contractor will be here Friday morning to replace the flange. I looked up the name on the business card given to us by the contractor, and there is no trace of his "company" anywhere online, which seems odd.

We’re in the process of having our master bathroom remodeled with the Sears Home Services based in Denver. The contract says the remodel should take approximately 3-5 days and we are in the 4th week now, with weeks left to go because they ordered the wrong countertops. Our toilet was broken when the contractor sent by Sears left the toilet seat up and a small decorative item fell off a shelf and into the toilet bowl, which shattered it. I was told by the contractor that he would see if there was an extra one in the warehouse so neither of us would have to “buy” a new one, which seemed inappropriate considering it was broken when he was working in our bathroom and kept leaving toilet seats up all over my house. Our broken toilet was replaced with one he found sitting in a warehouse, which then began leaking. We have contacted the contractor and project manager multiple times due to the leak not being fixed, and there have been several occasions where they have not returned our calls. Our remodel began on May 28th and we have had a leaking toilet on June 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, and 23rd. The gap between June 14th and 23rd is from when we disconnected the water source to the toilet and plunged the water so it wouldn’t leak all over our new floors. This is also when calls to the project manager and contractor went unanswered and unreturned, which is completely unacceptable considering we’re spending over $18,000 on this remodel. When the project manager Chrystal finally responded to our messages, she said she told the contractor to call us and if he didn't then to let her know, which is what happened last week when it leaked and neither of them contact us for several days. As of now, there has been absolutely nothing done about this issue and our toilet has the water shut off and drained in an effort to save our new floors. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint because this is unacceptable and dishonest. We had hoped that they would do a good job so we could use them for future bathroom remodels, but that is definitely not the case and the customer service is terrible.

The people who worked on the Air Conditioner were a 5. Sears overall was a 0. Kept getting emails that appointments were rescheduled. They never were. The guys showed on Monday to replace my AC but they according to Sears (confirmed on Saturday) they were not supposed to show up until Tuesday. I happened to be home when they called. 10 mins later I would have been gone for the day. Customer Service was VERY rude when I called. Could not understand them at all. Will probably not do this again

The only word I can use to describe my experience is NIGHTMARE. What should have only been a 4-5 day project took MONTHS. I have never seen a worse hack job in my life. And with every "fix" came a new problem. The project manager was unresponsive. Eventually I gave up.

The faucet to my shower still turns 360 degrees with no shut off unless it's perfectly vertical. There are bubbles in my vinyl flooring and a cut in the flooring. I had to hire another contractor to fix the damages done to my walls and ceilings in other parts of my house. I have used other contractors in my time to do other house projects and have had no problems. I decided to use Sears to remodel 2 bathrooms and to update my kitchen countertops because I liked their products and their pricing was within my budget. I am sorry to say, this was the worst mistake I ever made.

There actual work done was great. The project manager and his crew were exceptional once a date was set. Going through the process of getting it scheduled and financing have been a nightmare. It took 9 weeks just to get an update on when they would be available for work and my initial sales rep wouldn't be bothered to answer any questions. On the financing side they never sent the information on the account details and have been extremely rude on any follow up. Still no details on my account almost 3 months later. I wouldnt recommend them based on their strange aversion to speaking to customers. You're better off with a local option from the start given that they subcontract it all out anyway.

Although the first installer never showed up, the following day a new crew arrived and did amazing work! When they finished they cleaned everything, hauled all the old windows away and managed to do it all in one day. My windows look so good!

So far so good with the new system. It replaced a 25+ year system that was working fine, so, I'm a bit superstitious about replacing something that isn't broken, but, we went ahead. Some after work clean up that left a bit to be desired, as we had to a couple hours to get a rust stain out of a carpet and shards of metal vacuumed.

New furnace completely balanced the temperature in the house! Installation was professional and well ahead of schedule. Will be using Sears for future projects!

I have 11 more windows to replace and will be using Sears and their contractors again. Couldn't have hired nicer people on my own. Way to go Sears on your search for great people to partner with.

The Sears' regional salesperson recommended an air conditioner that our furnace could not handle. With over 20 years of experience I would expect the salesperson would not be off by the magnitude he was. The subcontractor pointed out the technical inadequacy which, begs to question why not contract directly with them versus Sears.
