I had floors and two bathroom vanities, mirrors, and over-toilet cabinets installed. The contractors managed to get it all done in three days, which I appreciated. The only reason I didn't rate this as a 5 is that the water was hooked up backward to my faucets and my clothes washer.
Additionally, my contract said they would move the furniture, but my husband and I moved most of it out of the rooms and when the contractors moved it back, some of it was damaged and some parts were lost. Everything was covered in sawdust by the time the job was complete. I would have thought they'd cover the furniture, but they didn't.
At one point, the foreman's daughter (I'm not sure she was an official employee) asked me if there was anything that needed to be moved that I didn't mind getting damaged. Seriously?! I was told that the crew putting in our floors were all part of Transform as employees, but I doubt that was the case. They constantly complained that it was taking so long because they had a lot of stuff to move. However, they left only one guy here the first day to take care of all that, it's no wonder it took so long.
All in all, my floors and bathrooms look great and the contractors were polite and efficient.

The materials recommended to us by the sales rep are of the highest quality and the installer went above and beyond to do the job right. All the phone reps kept me well informed and the schedule moving quickly. Worth every penny we spent and won't bother looking elsewhere to have future work done.

Sears installed a new furnace/ac unit. Everyone involved, the salesman, installers, office staff were pleasant and helpful and took time to explain everything. The installers were done in half a day. I was impressed with the quality of work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We had a great experience with Sears for our windows. Our salesman didn't try to oversell, was very knowledgeable and provided advice to meet our needs. The installation crew were great despite having to come back for extra visits due to the weather. The windows have improved the look of the house and are already keeping the inside temperature moderated well. I would definitely recommend Sears for window needs.

Horrible customer service and they were only attentive to us when it was time for us to sign their paperwork saying the install was good. Install spread out over 4 days because the salesman didn’t know what he was looking at (we got a new AC unit). Installers were completely unprofessional. Sears offered no resolution or compensation for inconveniencing myself and my family. I will never use them again!

This has been a sloppy experience from start to finish. The project took longer than expected, and the project manager, Gabriel, was completely unreachable. The issues started when the installer, John, arrived to my home and no one on his team informed him of the project details ahead of time. John was courteous and wonderful to work with, but I feel bad that he is associated with such a sloppy operation. I will not encourage anyone to complete any Sears home improvement project due to the installation experience in regards to support and communication.
In fairness, the windows have worked out nicely and are to the level we expected. John did an excellent job ensuring they were insulated, straight, and operational. However, the entire experience is not something I would refer my friends for.

Transform/Sears Home Repair completed our bathroom. It was a project that they said would take 35 days, and it ended up taking 3 months. The communication between the Sales Rep, the Project Manager, and us was non existent. The repair techs and the sales rep did not wear masks in our home and we had to ask them to. The sales rep sold us products that were not possible for our bathroom so the project manager had to change much of what we originally wanted. I will never use them again. John Trimble should not be a sales rep if he is unfamiliar with what he is selling and overpromising and underdelivering. And Juan Olivas Jr. was unprofessional, and our bathroom will need to be redone because it does not look good.

Our experience started out well, our salesperson was friendly, at one point in our conversation he told us they had Carrier and Kenmore, both went down the same production line and some received a Carrier badge and the others received a Kenmore badge. I asked what was the price difference and was told about $500.00 dollars, I thought for $500.00 for the same product I would go with Kenmore, we were never shown any pictures on either product. I did some homework and discovered our yet to be installed A/C was another division of Carrier, and not the same product at all, I attempted to find out more and switch to Carrier and was told it would be $1200.00 additional which I said was too much, Sears would not work on the price. when the installation day arrived one guy came out around 10:30am and dropped the equipment off and said 3-4 guys would be here shortly and would be completed in about 4 hours, at about 3:30pm several workers arrived and about 1/2 hour later there was only one working by himself, about 9:30pm he said he was going home and would come back the next morning around 8:30 am. The next day no one showed up until about 4:00pm said they had another job they had to do, I said you are not even finished with this one yet. I had called sears several times during the day and not gotten a hold of anyone and then didn't get a straight response when I did. The workers completed the job about 8:30pm. I expected much better from Sears, a better A/C a better quality unit ( Carrier ) not a low budget secondary brand for the very high price we were charged, better installation, better communication, and a willingness to work with the customer who is paying their salary. I would not recommend Sears or their subcontractors to anyone I know. I would like to talk with someone from Sears to make this right.

The cabinet installers Dwayne & Erica were awesome, they were very courteous, professional, & helpful. I didn't feel like a bunch of strangers were in my house. They communicated the process effectively and ensured I understood everything they were doing. Because of Dwayne & Erica I would definitely use Sears Home Improvement again. Thank you for an amazing kitchen.

much of the information that I should have received I was not given. I was not told that the shutter style blinds that I had in my windows before the project were not going to fit after the project. I was not told that he contractors would leave behind dust everywhere. I know that this is a dusty job but it should come with some cleaning details to follow. Now, when I got my windshield replaced my windshield was so clear, but with 7 windows, costing $$$$$$$ I am told that i have to wait a month or so for some type of oil to process before really having clean windows. Well, all of this should have been told to me up front. Also, I started out with a project bigger than the final project but I am still being charged for the regular project amount- even thought I did the proper paperwork to have the bathroom and the glass sliding door removed within days of the initial contract. However, that will be taken care of but all of the other mentioned stuff is something that I should not be dealing with. Because now, I have to buy new blinds to go in "7" windows... Sears should add more points to my already points so that I can purchase blinds for those windows.... Very disappointed...
