Bernie's Plumbing & Heating Company

Bernie's have always been very professional: they provide accurate quotes, they are always on time, and from what I can tell they do great quality jobs. They are on the expensive side, but for me it's totally worth it.

We had one hell of a problem with sewage smell coming from the basement floor drain. After multiple companies and plumbers came out to try and figure this out (without success I might add), these guys came in and figured it out. Really happy with what they did, and the problem has been fixed ever since. Five stars. Thanks for everything!

We used a national plumbing service before calling these folks and the other place charged us $2400 to cut through the tile in our bathroom and not fix the problem. We went with Bernie's to resolve the leak and it was less than $300 for the whole visit. They looked at a sink for us too. They do great work and I highly recommend them.

We have been using Bernie’s for years. They always do a great job, they are reliable, and fairly priced. They always give a detailed quote before the job and they honor that quote. We have tried other plumbers in emergencies when Bernie’s was unavailable, but we always go back to Bernie’s because of their superior service.

I had a backflow prevention device that needed to be changed out due to a crack that formed after the winter. Bernie's was able to get out within a couple of days and was able to fix the leak by replacing the BFPDevice with one that I had picked up from Home Depot.

It was very efficient. It took about an hour, and what I was quoted over the phone was within $10 of the actual invoice.

The service technician was very friendly, and gave some good advice while he was out at my place.

I recommend these guys. They are straight shooters, not like some of the businesses out there.

I will update this review when the issue is resolved. First, we had to wait weeks to be served. Which is understandable, considering there are still supply and labor shortages due to the pandemic.

Unfortunately, this really affected us because we just moved into our new place and no one was aware of the waste water leak before we got here. Bernie’s finally came and replaced most of the drain pipe. However, the new pipe they installed was leaking at its junctions after the work was finished. It took several more days before they could come to repair their error, and all they did was tighten the clamp. They did not check to see if the issue had been resolved before they left. Of course, as soon as I tried to take a shower, water once again leaked all over the floor downstairs.

The quality and timeliness of the work done by Bernie’s plumbing in our home has negatively impacted our quality of life. I feel like our situation has not been taken seriously.

I wish I had more positive things to say about this local business that others have had good experiences with. Like I said, I will update the review as soon as the issue is resolved. Some of the other critical reviews have even further broken my trust in this team in their process.
