The guy who came to give us an estimate never went in to the attic to look at the parts of the unit that are up there; he just gave an estimate based on what he saw outside at the condenser. He spent only approx 15-20 minutes at my home as he seemed to be in a hurry, and got an "attitude" when I began to ask questions. I will not do business, especially with something as major as AC replacement, with a company who does not listen to my concerns, and answer my questions. I ended up going with a company whose estimate was $3000 more simply because they took the time to look at the entire system, answer all questions, and were extremely personable and acted like I was their only customer, which I know I'm not.

A/c quit working on friday and a friend recommended us to Omni Heating and Air. Called spoke with Ally who was very helpful when I set appt and was able to get an appt for next day. Richard arrived to inspect system and quickly Identified issue. He had our A/c system back up in less than 30mins. Richard was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The 2 people I dealt with had great customer service skills. Issue was a dead capacitor and the other one under performing and not within mfg specs.

Omni's response time was exceptional compared to their competition. I call about 10 different A/C repair providers operating in Temecula area and they were the only company that had the capabilty to provide same day service during this recent heat wave. Their technician arrived early, diagnosed the problem within minutes and had the broken air conditioner working in less than a half hour. The technician was curtious, professional looking, and informative - providing a clear explaination of what was broken and what it was going to cost to repair. Omni's prices were reasonable for the services provide. My wife and I are extremely please with the services provided, and given their honesty and ability to fix the problem instead of trying sell us a whole new A/C unit, my wife and I will highly recommend Omni to our friends and neighbors in the future.

Great customer service quick and fast to respond. We had an issue with my AC unit called on Monday and they sent some one on the same day. Technicians called me with the issue and fixed it great price too.

Super quick service. Called at 9am, technician came at 10:45am. Both capacitors were replaced for a reasonable cost & delivery fee for $305. Make sure to download their $50 off coupon online. A/C is back on!

I feel like he preyed on our need for service. His actions did not match his explanations. Unprofessional and expensive. $500 for 15 mins.

OMG! Life savers. My AC stop blowing cold air on Sat Night. I Called around the so called 'Open 24/7' contractors and all I got was the run around. So, I today (Monday) while at my Lunch I called Omni Heating and Air. The First thing I said ' I hope you can save me!' She laugh (good laugh) and said How can we help you. We'll send someone out right away Sir. She stated. Robert showed up on time and ready to help. He had my AC running in no time. He did an amazing job, professional, extremely knowledgeable. I liked how he took his time to explained the issue.
I highly recommend Omni Heating and Air.
Thank you Robert!

Anthony worked on the AC today and was awesome- there is a very old unit at this place with a lot of problems, and other times the fixes have been rushed and temporary, but Anthony is by far the best person who has worked on it. The pipe draining the water was poorly constructed which leads to blocks, but instead of just flushing it out Anthony cut and fixed the way it drains which is the genius move that should have been done years ago. Really insightful solution and very helpful overall- thank you!

Our air conditioner stopped blowing cold air during a heat wave with temperatures near 100°. I have COPD and rely on the a/c working just so I can breathe. I called Omni about 4:15pm. The young lady I spoke to said she had someone in my area and would call me within 15 minutes. She called back in about 10 minutes to let me know that a tech named Raymond would be at my home within 30 minutes. He was. He went on my roof to inspect the unit there, came down, inspected the unit in my garage. He was able to repair the a/c without replacing any parts. He inspected eveythever again, and was gone shortly after 6:30. The charge was reasonable and my wife was very happy. Now I know why"Everybody loves Raymond!"
Thanks Omni! I know who ilI' be calling next time and I know who I'll be recommending.

Judging by other reviews of Omni Heating and Air, our experience was not typical. That's the caveat to this review.

Our AC went out in early July during record-breaking heat. We found Omni with a Google search and they had availability that day. The Omni technician who came out said we needed a new coil, a job that would cost well over $1,000. Before leaving, he asked to look in the attic as well. After looking around, he said we needed new ducts because our ducts were poorly installed and were not properly insulated. We agreed to that service, which when combined with the coil replacement put the price at over $6,400 (including a discount on the coil service)--a lot, but we were somewhat desperate for functional AC again. To make a long story short, we had four different technicians doing work on at least five different days spread over more than two weeks before the problem was finally fixed. During much of this ordeal, we had to stay with relatives because our house was too hot at night to sleep in.

After the replacement of the coil and the installation of the new ducts was complete, our house was still over 85 degrees at night with the AC running nonstop (it was cooler outside). Part of the coil was replaced a second time. When all the repairs were finished this time, the technicians failed to suggest replacing the filter, which, though we had replaced it just before all the work had begun, was completely dirty from attic insulation particles that had blown out during the duct work. The dirty filter caused the system to ice up, and again we had to have Omni technicians come out to fix the system. We bought and installed a new filter and finally started getting consistently cool air.

The technicians who did the repairs were often clearly exasperated with the system - there were frequent bumps and bangs followed by loud expletives, which would have been *whatever* except for our young child who was also present. They left dirty smudges on several walls, and over a week later, we still have attic insulation particles being blown out of our AC vents. Those are admittedly little things, but for a job as expensive as this and with as many AC companies as there are in Inland SoCal, we would hope for a company would that be attentive to both the big things and the little things. However, now that it is all said and done, we do have an AC system that is working well. So there's that.
