    I went with Service Champions based on written communications from the company, customer testimonials, and various other reviews. In addition, they provided a good support package going forward, The system has been installed and it is working fine. The teams which did the dismantle and install did a good job. They answered all my questions and discussed things with me as the project progressed. Just a couple of issues that I want to bring up. Unfortunately, during the sales cycle, it was not brought to my attention that the current AC drip system to the outside could not be used without significant breaking of cement and doing an install that meets code. That was not brought to my attention until the install team arrived and looked around. Eventually we did come up with a solution that satisfied me and met the code. But, that would have been a costly thing to deal with. Should have been brought up prior to signing the contract. Secondly, another Asbestos abatement company, that SC uses, mistakenly took out the vent and vent cap to the water heater. They should have left that in place until that link was dealt with during install. The problem was we had to turn the water heater off for 5 days to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. During this time, I felt like nobody from Service Champions or the asbestos abatement company was communicating with me on resolution. It seemed neither company wanted to take responsibility and deal with the issue. In the end, Service Champions did find another new vent cap and took responsibility. But, the other company did not get back to me like they said they would. Good system, good install, but some things need polishing on the sales management end. If those two things did not occur, I would have given a 5 star rating rather than a 4 star rating.

    Service Champions provides excellent service to their customers. They have trustworthy safety protocols in place during COVID. My telephone calls are always answered by a real person. The customer service is top-notch! Rodney, our technician, was very professional, thorough, and personable. He explained each service and was very conscientious about his work and also keeping our home clean. Rodney left a detailed report and took lots of pictures so we could see the areas of service. We trust Service Champions and feel that the service they provide is a good value. I would highly recommend Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning!

    Our AC went down the second day of a terrible "heat dome" in the Bay Area in September 2022, temperatures 100 degrees and more. I thought we might have to replace the air conditioner. Service Champions sent Jesus Ulloa the day after I called. He was thorough, careful and respectful of us and the house. He discovered it would require only a minor repair which he did immediately.

    Justin Starr is outstanding. He is very professional, knowledgeable, clean, friendly, polite, honest, and has great skills. He also did a great job explaining and installing my air scrubber. All of the Service Champion workers have been outstanding. Justin is the best. I hope he continues to service my system. Service Champions is. an outstanding company. At first I'm worried that they're not going to finish but they stayed late until the job is done. 👏👏 I'm so happy with the result and glad that I chose Service champion to replace my AC and furnace unit.

    Sought help diagnosing why my furnace would not turn on anymore. Technician Prawit came. I had looked at gas furnace & fuse box myself & could not determine why it would not work. Prawit & I looked at furnace going in and out of the house a few times. After being unable to find any issues with the furnace, Prawit signed me up for the MVP program at a cost of $329.46 & prepared to leave to get a new thermostat to install. Just before he left, I noticed he had removed a cover from the thermostat and removed batteries that I found on the counter. He had not mentioned anything about batteries! I quickly put some new ones into it and suddenly the thermostat lit up & the furnace fired up just fine. I thought the thermostat was hard-wired and did not use batteries. I rushed out to him in his vehicle and stopped him from leaving. I asked him about the batteries he had left on the counter & he said the thermostat did not indicate to him that the batteries were no longer providing the energy the normally would. He apparently did not try to install new ones to see if that solved the problem, maybe he did but he never said anything about batteries before I asked him about it. Either he had screwed up in a deception attempt and got caught or was incompetent in diagnosing the issue. I was then told the charge could not be reversed & that I would need to wait 10 days for a partial refund that actually did occur 4 days later. I ended up paying $89 for the diagnostic! The thermostat just needed some new batteries! I am now writing this12 days after his visit having expected the partial refund to take the 10 days as I was told. Needless to say, I feel embarrassed about not finding the drained batteries myself and am certain to never trust this company or use their services again. Charged $89 to install my own new batteries. Beware of these self-described "champions". Check your thermostat for a removable cover and try new batteries if yours has any, before calling for furnace service. I only give any stars at all, because every time he entered my home, he put covers on his shoes to protect my carpet, and I am giving the benefit of doubt that the incident was intentional deception. Perhaps it was just incompetence.

    Our AC was not blowing cold air and Service Champions came in to the rescue. Thank you for sending JC - very professional and explained in full details what was going on with the problems we were having as well as for fixing the cold air issue. Highly recommended.
