    This review is based on two service calls over the last 2 years. I wish I could speak more highly of this company but their most recent visit has left a very sour taste in my mouth and a very large hole in my wallet.

    On the first visit in 2011, Air Pros charged $115 for a regular annual AC/heating checkup which is on the high side but not exorbitant. The technician was clean and polite and seemed to do a good job.

    On the second visit today 9/3/13, the price was the same $115 for the checkup. UNTIL the technician noticed the coolant was "a little low" (he provided no other specifics) and recommended a coolant re-charge. The Air Pros price for that service was an ADDITIONAL $285 for a total of $400. I agreed to the service, not realizing at that time I was being grossly overcharged.

    After contacting two of their competitors (both also certified by American Standard) I was told that the true costs for a coolant re-charge is the cost of coolant (approx $40/lb for R410A) plus the cost of labor (approx $90-$120/hr). The Air Pros technician spent a total of less than 30 minutes re-charging my A/C and added less than 2 lbs of coolant. Both competitors also stated that if their tech is already at the property for a regular checkup, they do not charge additional labor to add coolant. That would be double-charging. So, using high estimates the total cost for the re-charge should have been AT MOST $80 for 2 lbs of coolant. I WAS CHARGED $285 DOLLARS.

    When I called Air Pros to inquire, I was simply told "we don't charge hourly for that service" and "that's just our price". How convenient that their fixed price happens to be more than THREE TIMES HIGHER than the fair market value of the same service billed hourly by other companies.

    Lesson learned. Air Pros has lost my business.

    Pros 360 and Alfredo were lifesavers! I had a constant rainfall on my kitchen window which was a result of condensation from the A/C Unit. After 2 different companies came out to see it and were unsuccessful, I searched for the best and found Pros 360. Alfredo came out, even helped me with the groceries from my car (I had to add), saw the problem and within 15 minutes in the attick solved the problem!! YAY. He didn't stop there, he cleaned all my A/C vents and my system is running perfectly. Being in Woodland HIlls the A/C running well is life.
