I am normally hesitant of any contractor that America home shield sends as there’s been a track record of poor workmanship but wow I would use same day air again even if it wasn’t through america home shield. They were not only prompt, on time, no hassle, and got the job done but Feras was very knowledgeable. Communication was always informative and they actually show up when they say they will. Our air conditioner broke after a previous AHS contractor fixed the heat but in turn broke the cold air. Same day air came out, ordered the part, and my ac was fixed within a week. I’m super impressed and adding them to my list of go-to home repair companies.

Worst Ever!! Called for service mid-December 2018 (pilot flame not igniting), Tech arrives, examines and resolves issue, suggesting next servicing we install an additional $125 part, which he just happen to have. Taking his advice, we asked him to install it then, which he did in 5 minutes, total bill $225; though not certain what part was replaced (wasn't listed on the receipt nor did we get the old part back). Christmas Eve at 5p, furnace ceases working again, same as before. Immediately reached out to this 24/7 entity, our call went straight to voicemail, no response. Horribly inconvenient, expensive as quests has to be rehoused. Day after Christmas, the same tech returns and, after several fumbles (all the while on his phone), tells us he'll want an additional $300 to resolve, still no mention of the previously replaced part. Not satisfied with his cavalier, inept demeanor, we declined his offer, then contacted the office dispatcher who apologetically advised he was actually a trainee, that there wasn't record of the any previously installed part and that she would instead send one of her experienced techs to resolve the issue @ 1p that day; a total no show, we finally received a call @ 3:30p asking if we still wanted service. Our confidence obliterated, we choose to pass, absorbing the financial loss and all the frustration that went with it before it became worse, my leaving this review 2 years later after reading the recent ones. These poor reviews aren't fake. From the money grab to lack of a proper receipt (with part) or just showing up on time, NEVER EVER AGAIN WOULD WE USE SAME DAY!!

Mohammed was professional and new his job. He explained the problem in terms that I could understand. I was hesitant to use them again as the first guy I used from here blew it off as It was the nest thermostat issues. But this time Mohammed took the time to address all the issues he could find. I did as he instructed and the heater is working just fine.
