Ouch!!!$400 to change a $40 condensate pump. 10 min job, is totally ridiculous. They evidently pray on the unsuspecting. I would love nothing better than to shop locally but this proves you need to do a little research. don’t believe the positive yelp reviews. I had a 10 AM to 1 PM timeslot. The technician showed up at 1:30.. Shame on you cypress heating and air-conditioning.

Our a/c went out three weeks ago, we called our home insurance company – and they sent us a technician from a company that they are contracted with in Riverside, the technician told us that we are missing a cap and he did not even open the cover to check the unit, so I called the insurance company and I explained to them what happened, so they sent another technician from another company, my husband and I did not feel comfortable with this company either. This is when my husband and I decided to forget about the home insurance company, and to hire a company on our own. We selected Cypress Heating and Air Conditioning based on their excellent reviews. We called them the next day. As promised, Gary showed up on time, he was very friendly, informative and he really helped us to make the right choice regarding our unit, and he was not pushy at all. We told Gary that we were with no air conditioner for the past three weeks, and he could tell that the heat was getting to me, that was on Saturday. On Monday, Gary was able to order the A/C unit, the furnace unit and was able to arrange for the installation on Tuesday. Only two days after we met with Gary, our new Lennox A/C and furnace was installed and running. Gary also helped us to get a maintenance schedule for our Air Conditioner and Water Heater. Thank you so much Gary, you are awesome.
I also would like to thank Chris, and Ozzie, the two guys who came to install our new system; they were very professional and very polite. They made sure to clean before they installed the new equipment, and they ensured everything was done according to our requests. The technician, Danny Castaneda, who came out to do my annual HVAC maintenance was timely, professional, and knowledgeable, the employees that work for Cypress are top notch.
