Mike Caspillo is great!

At 10pm last night (a Friday night) I had sewage backing up in all bathrooms in the house. I called Rooter Hero right away and was greeted by a very nice woman who said she’d see if anyone was available and report back in 10-15 minutes. After 5 minutes I got a text that Mike was on his way, followed up by Mile calling me as well to say he’d be here in 25 minutes.

Once he got here, we spent a bit of time trying to find the clean out which had been buried under dirt and rocks - I recently moved into the house and didn’t know where it was located. We then looked through the rest of the plumbing under the house and he quickly identified numerous problem areas that weren’t discovered in our recent home inspections and immediately knew what the best solution was. He was able to get water flowing through the system again set up a follow-up meeting the next morning at 9am, where he and Greg showed up 10 minutes early.

My experience has been great from the get-go. Mike had a great attitude throughout, even given the hour (midnight on a Friday). On top of that, he took the time to explain things to me in detail, which I really appreciate. It was clear both Mike and Greg know their stuff, and I appreciate that they were focused on the solution to the problem and not just quick fixes.

While I’m going to get a second quote, this is primarily for peace of mind - my wife and I have a rule that we have to get a second quote for any services/projects over a certain amount due to an unrelated past experience (locksmith) where we were taken advantage of. I have no doubt we will be proceeding with Greg and Mike for the fixes to our system.

Adrian was very thorough and professional. His services were done with utmost patience and professionalism. He is well spoken and explained to multiple managers and owners of the business what the issues at hand were, why they happened and what would be needed to fix and maintenance them. He consulted his manager if needed, but mostly he knew what needed to be done and seemed experienced in his field. His explanations of issues were thorough and understandable. He left himself open to questions and was willing to answer anything. He set up a plan of further actions. Work was done in Newcastle Ca, so they were willing to travel. His partner or boss, Nathaniel, was also helpful and professional.

Responded extremely fast on a Saturday night emergency call! Was extremely professional on site.

I had a leaky shower and called Rooter Hero. Although their plumber was really nice, they quoted me a ridiculous amount of $8000 to replace the whole shower system to remedy the problem. For a leaky shower? I asked a family friend to give me a second opinion. He found that the problem was a broken valve and repaired it for $200. Problem solved. Its worth getting a second opinion.

Kyle was brilliant from start to finish. He really knows his stuff, is very skilled in his work, and was incredibly generous with his time. He gave me quite a bit of good advice, and even taught me a few DIY things for future reference. I feel like a better-equipped homeowner after Kyle’s lessons. He’s also wonderfully friendly and polite - an all around pleasure to work with.

Mike was professional yet friendly, clean, quick and thorough. I called about the leak under my bathroom sink after 9pm and it was repaired before 10:30. I was shocked at how quickly these guys responded and even more shocked that it was so affordable. I will definitely use this company again!

Chris is awesome. He explained the problems with our pipes in a way that made sense. He gave us tips on how to prevent future clogs and he was friendly and resolved all our problems. He also checked our neighbors’ sink and pipes on the other side (we live in a duplex) to make sure they didn’t have any problems either. He is highly professional and was a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for such excellent customer service!

My technician was Cody. He was very professional. Excellent overall experience. He showed me the backup in my clean out. He was able to clear the back up with the snake. I was impressed with the response time. I will call Rooter Hero in the future for my plumbing needs!
