Huft Home Services Elk Grove

Had ductwork and insulation replaced recently. Huft was fantastic from start to finish. The team lead Anthony McEntyre was super proactive in communicating with us about what to expect and went above and beyond to keep our family comfortable while we were home during the job. We are very happy with the end result and the entire process.

I tried doing a plumbing repair myself and hit a point where I just couldnt get it done. Scheduled and appointment online with huft and within a half hour had the appointment confirmed for the next day. It gets better, the tech I had, Jacob M. Was early, called ahead to make sure that was okay. We went over the quote to fix it and he had it done within an hour and completely cleaned up after himself, walked me through what he did and was on his way. He not only fixed the problem but even corrected some plumbing that wasnt done the greatest while he was here. Fantastic service and I will be using them again.

We had a plumbing situation and the team communicated with us transparently via multiple calls up until the assigned Tech was at our door less than 24 hours later. Tech was knowledgable and more than friendly. Saw the problems right away, fixed what r he could and provided an esti.ate for deeper long term repair. I will be utilizing these services in the future.

2 years ago Huft replaced my HVAC system. They did an excellent job. I just had them come out to get a quote on some electrical issues I've been having. The service tech gave me an honest opinion and I'll be getting an electrical box upgrade and whole house surge protector. I will always go to Huft for all my home services! UPDATE: 7/5/23 Electrical panel has been upgraded, the techs were great! I also had them put on a whole house surge protector which I have been wanting for several years now. I will continue to use HUFT for all my home services! Very satisfied customer!

Huft was exceptional. Wanted to bring a bedridden family member to his home. The home needed a new install air conditioner and heat before they could come home. Huft was recommended to me. Glen came out 11/30/22; very thorough in explaining the new system and options. Huft's technicians were out 12/5/22 and had the complete install done by 12/6/22. Techs were friendly, efficient and left the house better then when they got there. I apologize for not remembering all their names. I am so grateful for Huft Home Services recognizing the urgency I felt on getting this done. My family member is back home and very happy. Thank you Huft Home Services!!

An addition to my prior comments. John Kompa from Huft came out to check a noise that ended up not being an issue. John checked the filter and noticed it needed to be changed. We didn't have any on hand so he went an got one. He also brought to my attention how bad the roof is. It had been brought to my attention on the initial install. He took pictures. He was concerned that it's was going rain again. He took the extra time to put up tarps on the exposed areas until we can get it replaced. I feel that this extra attention and the temporary repair is over and above what I expected. Thank you John. You are what makes you and your company exceptional.

I contacted huft to get a quote to replace my broken garbage disposal. They sent out Ray Valles to give me an estimate. When Ray entered my home he wore muddy boots into my house and then broke the child lock off of my cabinet in my kitchen and didnt say anything about it hoping i wouldnt notice. He then quoted me $650 to replace my disposal which he said would take 45 minutes and could be done the next day. I thought that was expensive but didnt want to wait for another plumber and thought at least id get a better model of disposal. The next day michael montana came out to do the install who was more professional and covered his shoes before coming in and did a good job replacing the disposal but i found out the disposal they provided costs $118 at home depot. So they charged me $650 for a $118 disposal and 45 mins of labor. This is outrageously expensive. Also their manager octavio called me after i complained about ray breaking my child lock and he left me a voicemail saying he would make it right but i called him back and he never contacted me again. I would recomend going anywhere else for your plumbing needs as huft employees are not your heros they are unprofessional and extremely overpriced.

Technician was on time and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Michael replaced a burnt out outlet and gave possible reasons as to what caused it. Also pointed out other possible issues for us to think about. No pressure or upselling. Thank you Huft for having an excellent technician and for resolving our issue in one call.

Today we had Sunny, Jacob and Ray relocate a gas water heater at our home. We upgraded to an 80 gal electric hybrid heat pump, it's a beast of a water heater (700 lbs). They were very professional, efficient hard workers, with great communication. We're very happy with great work ethics and will definitely be calling them back in the future. Highly recommend.

Saw this on their trucks and it made me chuckle. They were the hero's for today's job, and worthy of a bonus...

Nelson had to come help with an electrical issue we were having. After listening to our problem and doing his inspection on the problem he saw what it was and explained how we could diagnose/fix the problem ourselves if it happened again. He was friendly, patient and knowledgeable.

Ray did an amazing job. Great customer service and quick fix. Would recommend 100% to anyone needing HVAC and more. Thank you Ray from Huft Home Services.
