Elevated Comfort

Elevated Comfort was amazing from start to finish, and I am glad that we went with them for what was the first large update we have done to our home. We installed a new mini-split heat pump with four heads and we also replaced our aging radiant boiler and tanked water heater with a single combi-boiler.

Our experience started with Chris, who was really informative on options for the heat pump system, including the type of units we would need and could choose from, how they would be mounted and where the compressor unit could go. We live in an Eichler, which can be a little complicated to renovate, but Chris was there to help with the entire process. I definitely felt that I ended up with a proposal that took my perspective into account, and that made it easy for me to move forward.

It was the same thing with Mike, who came by to talk about boilers. He came up with exactly the kind of setup we wanted (single wall-mounted boiler for both hot water and radiant heat).

Catherine handled scheduling and other questions on the phone. She was great to deal with too, especially as the dates changed a few times.

Logan installed the heat pump system and Mike removed the old boiler and heater and built up the new combi-boiler system. They also had their apprentices, Miguel, Damien, Sakay, and one other person whose name I didn't catch. Everyone was really respectful of our space, especially as my wife was working from home, and my dog can be protective. They were conscientious about using boot covers in our house and cleaning up stuff after the work was done.

Logan and Mike would check in with me during important junctures in their surprisingly complex work, and I felt totally in the loop. They took a lot of pride in their work and made sure to do it right, rather than take shortcuts, even though the jobs ended up running longer than predicted.

There were a couple of hiccups - the wrong heat pump condenser unit and head units were delivered and installed on the first day (and no one realized it until I checked the model numbers), and we had a lot of trouble with getting the thermostat working after the combi-boiler was installed. In the first case, they got the issue fixed without any fuss, once I let them know. In the second case, Mike was very proactive about finding solutions to get the thermostat working and we finally did get it working.

They committed to getting these systems working in our place for a particular cost and made it happen. As I sit here in heat pump-cooled air, I must say that my comfort is indeed elevated and they lived up to their name! 😂🙏🏾

After our AC unit died several weeks ago. We had multiple companies come out and take a look. Elevate Comfort was very professional, but also genuinely down to earth. truthfully, the deciding factor of which service company we went with was the many personal touches we observed in their assessment and service.

They completed the job today, and all I have to say is, they are great. They are on time, professional, kind and respectful of your home while working from home. I almost did not even know they were here.

Tyler and Steve, and the whole staff at Elevated Comfort went above and beyond. They ran into some problems installing the mini split system due to unexpected idiosyncrasies in the design of my space, and it took a while to find a solution that worked. But they did not stop until all the problems were solved, and at their own expense. I recommend them highly.

We had some rodent issues and I needed to make sure that my duct work wasn’t compromised. I called Thursday, they had a technician out first thing Friday morning. I received a confirmation email with the service technician’s photo so, I would know who to expect at my front door. The technician, Zach was on time, polite, knowledgeable and honest. I would highly recommend Elevated Comfort.

Elevated Comfort came by far as the cheapest bid for either an AC unit or a heat pump with dual fuel capability installation. Ultimately, the price was not even why I picked them. Their salesperson, Chris Ferry was knowledgable without being pushy and gave me the right kind of advice. I ended up going with the heat pump, which was actually cheaper than the AC unit due to state incentives. [The previous owner had a furnace installed just before I moved-in about one year ago so my furnace is brand new and I was just going to replace my central AC unit in kind but on the advice of Elevated Comfort I ended up going with a similarly sized heat pump (and kept the gas furnace as well) because I'm going solar (so heating should be "free") but I like that I still have the choice between electricity and gas to heat my home. Communication with their administrative and billing department was seamless and customer service is great in general.

Alex and his team installed my and furnace and they were fantastic. On time, professional and courteous. Everyone at Elevated Comfort was superb. I highly recommend them for all of your heating and cooling needs. Ryan and Josh made the whole process seamless. Thank you.
