Bob’s air repair did an awesome job. Bob himself came out to bid the job, and his install guys were great. Friendly, professional, and busted their behinds to get it done. They were fast and efficient. The system works amazing, would absolutely use them again.

The technicians came by to diagnose the heater. After a prompt diagnosis they told me what was broken but would need to work out an estimate and headed out to the truck to do that.

Since the part was specific to my unit, it had to be ordered and would take 1-3 business days to arrive. I asked what unit I have and was told Trane but the model number wasn't decipherable on the unit so someone back at the office was trying to look it up. After a few questions about the age of the unit, they recommended replacing my furnace due to age: $15,000.

Was told that installing a new part on such an old unit (from 1999) was probably not a good idea since it may be on it's last legs. Was told that they usually last 20 years and mine was older, so it could be 6 months down the road and "your heat exchanger might crack and your house could fill with carbon monoxide and you get shut down". I asked if the person who was looking up the model number would call me once they had it so I had all the information and they said they could do that.

I asked how much it would be for the repair. $1,000. I asked if they needed a part specific to my unit, and they didn't have the model number, how could they know how much the part would be and therefore the price of the repair.

Turns out they had the model number the whole time. They told me they knew the model number, of which they had taken a photo that was clear as day. I asked them how much I owed them for diagnosis, paid, and sent them on their way. Had they been straightforward I would have paid the $1000 for the repair and been done with it.

A company that will hide information after being asked for it directly 3 times only to be caught and have to give up that information is one that I will avoid in the future.

Had an agent dropped by for diagnostics, his name was Scott, who seemed very annoyed and irritated when asked to take off his shoes or wear shoe covers inside the house. My house is new, and I spend a great time making sure it stays clean, and he did not wish to honor my request. He was very rude and unprofessional. Jessica, the phone rep on the other hand, was very sweet. I would have liked to use their services but this was such an unpleasant experience, and Scott recommended that I turn to a different company.

I called Bob's Air Repair for a 2nd opinion. My system was not coming on program times. They determined the system was working fine & probably thermostat. I was provided with options. I decided to manually do thermostat for a week & see if resolves issue. If it does then it confirms thermostat would need to be replaced. They weren't pushy in trying to get me to replace anything until they were sure it needed replacing. I really appreciated that!

Bobs Air Repair was quick to get us a replacement unit. They made special arrangements and had one the next day! They even had to get a crane arranged to put it in the roof. They worked until 10 or so at night to get us up and running ASAP.

We have 2 units and smart thermostats. Our power bill has decreased significantly with the system they installed.

Very friendly professional staff and great service!
