We continue to be pleased with the service provided by Laverne and Son. We had our air conditioner installed about five years ago… They did an excellent job! We’ve had their service technicians out several times... each time they have been punctual, professional, and efficient. Very pleased!

I placed a pressured call to LaVerne and sons as my ac went out the night before. It was 106 bothTuesday and Wednesday this week,
And my usually used ac company could not have a technician to our home until following morning.
Rex came to our home, repaired the ac unit and was on his way within 30 minutes.
It was great…..and even more rhan great to my wife.

LaVerne and Son have been excellent from day 1 of our experience with them.
1. They didn't oversell us when we were getting the quote from them for new HVAC.
2. The financing option we qualified for was excellent. We happened to get 0% financing.
3. They follow through on their commitment to one year of free maintenance, and they go the extra mile to make sure that your HVAC system is balanced and tuned for your house.

The bottom line is that I highly recommend them.

These guys were awesome. Hired them to install a new Trane A/C, thermostat, and duct cleaning. They estimated the A/C install would take 2 days, they got it done in one. Only came back to clean the ducts on day 2, and did a great job. My house was built in the 60s and looked like it had never had the ducts cleaned, they did a fantastic job! I would give them 6 stars if it were possible.

I called late one afternoon because my AC wasn't working. I was given a 7-9am time slot for the next morning. Rex arrived at 7am sharp. He assessed and detected the issue, replaced the failed capacitator, and had my house cooling back off in less than an hour! I recommend Laverne & Sons' services and will be calling them back out for my HVAC maintenance.

Called two Air Conditioning repair services in Bakersfield, Ca. to repair my less than 3-year-old AC (American Standard). I was required to pay diagnosis fees ($110.00 and $120.00) for both to come out. Both Companies said I needed a new furnace motor and they would have to order. Temperature in Bakersfield was running from 100 to 105 degrees so we would have hoped to have the AC fixed as soon as possible. One company never called me back as to the update as to when they could get a motor as they promised! The other company, who I purchased my complete Solar and HVAC system said they would order but I never heard from them. I called after two days and was told they would call me back that day to let me know the progress as to where the motor was. They NEVER CALLED BACK. The first night was so hot in the house we could not sleep so the second night we stayed in a hotel ($150.00). The next day I found a portable AC unit ($500.00) which may have been the only one in Bakersfield. We used the portable AC unit for three nights! On the second day I decided to try and locate the motor myself. I called another AC repair and they referred me to LaVerne and Son Electrical A/C and Heating! I talked to Sara who was SUPER nice and INFORMATIVE! She sounded like an infield service specialist! She was very understanding of my situation and said she could probably help me get running. I told her the complete story of the other two repair companies and she said they may have the motor but really thought it was a module and NOT the motor! She said she would try and get a repair person out that day but if not first thing the next morning! The next morning at 8AM I receive a call from the repair specialist (Kyle) that he was on his way and would be here in 15 min. When Kyle arrived, he was very pleasant and informed as to what was going on (Great communications from Sara and Kyle)! It took him 15 min to establish the problem which was NOT THE MOTOR as the other two companies said, but the module just as SARA thought. He went back to his shop to get the module and motor just in case if needed. It is 15-20 minutes one away and he was back round trip in 45 mins just as he said!

If only I would called LaVerne and Son Electrical A/C and Heating FIRST I could have saved at least $880.00! The positive of this whole story is one, I now have AC in my house with outside temps forecasted to 106 degrees today, two I now know who NOT TO CALL for HVAC service, and three the most important I now have a reliable, honest, friendly, and dependable HVAC repair company to call anytime in the future!! GREAT JOB SARA AND KYLE!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I contacted Rex regarding the installation of ducting to a new room addition and I asked for a quick turnaround. I was hoping to have the work done the next day but he was actually able to have a technician install it the same day. This allowed me to call for an inspection a day early which was very helpful.

The staff from Laverne And Son are so nice and helpful! I hadn't had an A/C tune-up in several years, and now my A/C is working better than ever during this heat wave. I will definitely use this company again.

I got the AC tuneup from a rep at Home Depot cause I use my AC all summer now that I got solar panels and just wanted to make sure everything was working well and they would let me know if anything looked like it needed repair. The maintenance guy Rex changed out my filter and showed me how dirty it was and this was inside my house!! I was surprised and will be changing those out more regularly
