Got up and it was 60 deg in house and heater just blowing cold air . I called as soon as they opened and got scheduled for tech for next day . He showed up a little early and went to work . In short time he had us up and running . The thermostat was not attached to wall secure and he even repaired that . He explained what was happening and what he had done and went on his way . He was very friendly and seemed to know his business. I highly recommend Holerds for any issues you might have with Ac/heating systems.

In July my a/c quit working. The service personnel who came out were very nice. I didn’t end up using them, I got a unit from someone else for several thousand dollars less. Now 2 months later I received a bill in the mail saying that I’m past due and in collections. When I called the office to find out what this was, I was connected to a very nasty and rude lady. She was yelling and saying I need to pay this. I was not told by either person who came to my house that there would be a charge. I expected the estimate to be free as it says in their ad. I would not recommend Holders under any circumstances. I think the office should work on their customer service skills.

Terrible customer service. We had a gas leak at our home and subsequently PG&E turned off the gas. We needed our HVAC evaluated as the potential cause of the leak. We called Holders on a Saturday, and explained the situation to their dispatcher, who asked for the situation to be repeated again. She then called back to ask exactly what the situation was. They dispatched an employee to our home on arrival, he notified us that he was not able to evaluate the HVAC system. If the gas was turned off. He then said he did not feel it was appropriate to charge us for service, since he didn’t provide any service. But that it wasn’t his decision to make. He attempted to call the service department manager with no success as it was a Saturday. We paid the $150 service fee, despite the tech not performing any service in our home. When we called holders today, and spoke with Cayla, the service manager, she informed us that the dispatcher didn’t document that the gas was turned off, so they would not refund the $150. Terrible customer service, on top of incompetent employees. Don’t use them for service.

the guy who came to inspect is fantastic! Jorge is thorough and very friendly. However we had to have a small part replaced. We were covered for part and installation BUT they charged us 150.00 for driving to wasco and gas money! Seriously?

AC stopped working during the summer, they came out to diagnose. They figured out the problem in about 15 minutes (bad capacitor, $20 part). I needed it fixed as had people in the house. Required payment upfront; paid on the phone before fixing. They charged ~$350 and took them about 10 minutes to put the part in. They completely took advantage of situation.
Fixed? Yes.
Good value? Absolutely not.
Professionalism? Was rushing when talking to me. Kept telling me he needed to get to his next repair.
Use them again? Never. Tells you a lot about the people who run the company.

Charged me a $99 diagnoses fee which is fine but the unit was frozen and they couldn’t do anything so they told me to leave it off and they would come back the next day but charged me another $65. I used them to do the work which was almost $1000 but they wouldn’t waive the return fees. The technician was nice but I felt taken advantage of as a single mom. They could have told me over the phone with it leaking to turn it off and let it thaw out before coming in the first place. I’ll look somewhere else next time.

Holder’s AC is a very professional company. They have done multiple services to installing my wifi thermostat on an older system, servicing the unit and most recently replacing it completely. They’re on time, honest, and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Tim came out today and was a total boss. Had my system fixed in less than 30 minutes. He quickly identified the problem and set it straight. Plus he was fun to hang out with and chat. I recommend these guys any day of the week. Ask for Tim!
