Gave them a call and they came right out and diagnosed the problem. Had to order a part. The part came in and they were right back out to repair the heater. All of this happened just as the negative degree temperatures hit our area. Thank you for making our home warm again.
I highly recommend calling Kevin. Both him and his staff and very friendly, and his rates are very reasonable. He does quality work with a smile. I have used him several times and will continue to do so.

This review isnt from general service. Its from an install performed when my house was being built.
Kester did the install.
What happened was the drainage pipe was installed incorrectly. There was an air bubble that would form and stop proper drainage after about 2 hours of use. This was due to a vent being installed prior to the trap when the tech that reinstalled the drain line confirmed that for vertical units this was the appropriate setup. However for horizontal units... which I have. The vent needed to be installed after the trap.
The former home owner had problems with it. But did not disclose on the disclosures when I bought the home. She never got it fixed and instead chose to use portable ac during the summers per her comments.
Basically what happened was the drainpan overflowed. And because the former home owner knocked the dipswitch loose on the pan that caught any leaks, and because the drain pan wasnt installed at the proper angle to ensure the dipswitch next to the drain line switched the unit off.
The ac drip pan leaked into our ceiling.
I contacted the builder. He basically told me to pound sand and to contact kester.
I contacted them and they wanted to charge me a servive fee ,when I had already been working with a different company that didnt charge me the fee.
Needless to say I didnt want to deal with them. Making the assumption they would do what any company or the builder would do, which is claim the install is out of warranty and then charge me anyway.
The issue is rectified now. But I would say to stay away from them. They should be offering free service if they find a problem with the install instead of charging a flat rate for everyone. And it doesnt appear they know what they were doing when they installed both the pan and the drain line.

No call the next day, however he did call a day late to give me the quote. I tell the home warranty people they want an invoice. I call back to ask them to send me an invoice. Sent Andy my email. Was told the next morning he would get with the lady in the office and have it emailed to later that day. The next day texted to find out where the invoice was. Got nothing. I give good reviews when they are earned. This company would have gotten Zero stars if I could have done that.
Called Kesters on a recommendation from Aelous property management. SO glad I did! Very courteous and professional! Resolved our issues quickly and we had heat back in our house again. Not sure 5 stars is enough! Paul was honest and their prices were fair..so hard to find honesty in the world these days
Called to have a tech come assess my unit and get a quote. The guy came and asked what was wrong with it. He took a few min to look at it and came back telling me he would need to have the experts provide me a quote because he wasn’t sure. He told me he would have them give me a call back the next day. They never called me back. Unprofessional and not knowledgeable about basic repairs. Wouldn’t recommend.
I recently moved to northwest Arkansas. I made appointments with three different heating and air company's and was stood up by all three; not even a phone call. My propane man told me he has used Kester's for many years. I called them. The sweetest lady scheduled an appointment for the same week. The technician was on time, friendly, explained what was going on with our heat pump and the bill was less than half than I would have paid where we moved from. They do business the right way.
