I had my 16 year old A/C go out, I called the company I've been using for service for many years to repair, found out that it was an unrepairable leak. Got estimate from them and a good friend told me to call Mike (Owner) at Jett Mechanical for a quote too. Mike sent me a quote of the 2021 version of what I had within 30 min and said it would be installed 2 days later. The other company didn't sell my brand and was 1 to 2 weeks out for install plus it was higher price for less of a unit. I was VERY happy with all aspects from price quote, to install, I will recommend them highly.

Scam artist company! They were hired to do an inspection of our AC since we are selling our house. When I asked what the issue was, the young man said it was just routine inspection. I knew he wouldn’t tell me much since he was working for someone else. At the end of his inspection, he had a ton of questions for me, and kept fishing to find something wrong with my system. He then told me my husband everything was working just fine, and just needed some minor tweaks. Well we received an “estimate” for 900 dollars to replace a ton of things. They also said I needed to replace the filters since they were dirty; we replaced the filters ONE DAY before they came to our house. THEY ARE BRAND NEW. it is clear they want to make money on us and fudged their inspection to make it so. I would trust a mechanic more then I would ever trust the two guys who showed up my house. I DO NOT recommend this company and will never refer to them at all.

One morning I noticed a stain on the ceiling in my house so I called Jett. They were at the house within two hours. Nate, the manager, came out, took care of the issue and said he would return later in the day to make sure the problem was resolved. He came back as promised, looked at the fix and determined it was resolved. He said he would send someone to fix the ceiling and sure enough, a gentleman came out several days later and took care of the damage to the ceiling. He did such a great job, you can't tell there was any damage.
Everyone at Jett was very professional, from the customer service personnel to the technical staff. We are new to Tucson so finding a company we could trust was very important to us. I sincerely believe we have found that company in Jett and will continue to use them for any a/c related problem. We recommend Jett to anyone that is in need of a professional and reliable a/c company.

I would recommend Jett Mechanical to everyone. They are truly there for their customers and their families. My compressor went out and was 97° in my house with a little girl. They made sure to work as quickly as possible to get the work done. I spoke to Mike the owner to resolve the issue with the insurance which was so amazing for him to make sure things were taken care of. Nate was also amazing with the work and very polite and quick. I can't express my gratitude for this company enough.

I would highly recommend them for any and all AC or heating needs. Very efficient, very helpful and went out their way to help me fix issues that didnt have anything to do with the installation of my new AC. Awesome team, explained everything to me and made sure I new everything about the new system and thermostat. Amazing company. I have gone through other companies and been let down over and over again, Jett Mechanical has restored my faith in a company doing a great job and being very professional.

Our experience with Jett Mech has been controversial to say the least. Prior to purchasing our home in June of 2020, Jett Mech was hired as part of the home inspection team to ensure our AC was fully functioning. On 4/14/20 they noted that the refrigerant levels were low and to check for a possible refrigerant leak. on 4/23/20 they came and serviced the AC and "checked for refrigerant leaks" and claimed the system was working properly at the time. Fast forward a few months, we notice our system wasn't blowing cold air like it used to when we first moved in. On 8/14/20 Jett Mech came out and determined that the low levels of refrigerant was due to a leaking evaporative coil. At this time, they agreed to fill up our refrigerant and verbally told us they would continue to fill it up as needed "as a courtesy" until the part was available. On this particular invoice we received, the refrigerant was "added to get customer temporary cooling in their home" at a cost of $0.00 just as promised. Jett Mech later came back on 8/31 and 9/13 to refill more refrigerant also at a $0.00 (or at least we're lead to believe as no invoice was sent for these two trips). Finally, after waiting almost two months we call Jett Mech again and they lets us know our evaporated coil is in. On 10/9/20 they came out and installed the new evaporated coil and refilled our refrigerant once more. At the end of installation, one of the techs says the work is done and asks to collect $2400 for parts and labor. Mind you, up to this point it has already been communicated to us that our evap coil is under warranty and we won't be charged for the part. I advised the tech to reach out to the office manager, Cindy, about that and the tech gladly agreed. Just a couple hours later Cindy calls me to let me know that I was right and our coil is covered under warranty so we won't be charged the $2400 (sigh of momentary relief), but that we still owe a balance of $950 for refrigerant and labor. Confused as ever, I asked Cindy why we are being charged for the refrigerant when it was clearly communicated that it would be filled up as a courtesy as it has before. On top of that, I asked her to provide us documentation that stated we would actually be charged or let alone be told what the refrigerant actually costs. We would soon find out that each lb of refrigerant costs $84 and were were charged for 10lbs according to the last invoice. Considering our AC holds a max of 10lbs of R-410A and knowing that we still had cold air blowing (just not ice cold), this number did not sit well with me. Feeling mislead and quite upset, I asked Cindy for Mike, the owner, to give me a call. Shortly after that, Mike gives me a call while I'm at work and begins to explain his reasoning behind the last invoice. He said that that last few visits were not charged as a courtesy but that everything has a cost. He proceeded to let me know that he has a business to run and that he has hard costs to consider, hence charging us for the refrigerant he previously told us would be covered as a courtesy. He then goes on to say that he looked at the total amount of refrigerant used used as well as the amount of labor accrued during this process to determine what we would be charged. As you can tell, I'm still super frustrated that he would go back on his word and charge us for refrigerant because of the cost to his business. If you weren't in a position to offer courtesy refills than at least be open and honest with us from the beginning and let us know what costs to expect for each visit! If that had been the case, we would have waited longer in between each refill until it was absolutely necessary. Our issue lies simply in that of a broken promise. We are first time homeowners so I'm writing this lengthy piece to inform other new homeowners to get everything in writing from this company! Following this review will be a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau for dishonest business practice and lack of proper disclosure for services rendered.

Absolute professionals and their rates are the best by far! I own multiple rentals and requested to have a older system inspected and given an estimate on work required. Betto (20+ years experience) called me on site and throughly described the condition of the unit to include what is required vs. recommended.
Other estimates were $1000s more! Yes...$1000s! Other companies insisted on total replacement as well which was not required. Front office is an absolute pleasure to work with (thank you Cindy!). Jett has my highest recommendation! Don't waste your time with anyone else!

The home warranty company had put us in touch with someone else first and they were not able to come repair the AC until the following week. It was 108° outside so I asked for another company and they gave us Jett. They were there promptly to repair the AC, my tenant was extremely happy. I will request them next time.

07/08/18 Our AC died last Wednesday. Tried dealing with AHS, another story! (*#@!) Called Jett on Thursday based upon a recommendation of a co-worker. Mike the owner was there Thursday and provided a very competitive bid on a quality REEM system. Even offered to look at our present issue and intervene if AHS vendor failed on a short term fix, they did fail didn’t make scheduled appointment waited all-day and Mike’s folks looked at my system. Long story short, amazing response and service by Jett, a New System installed the following Monday morning! I am amazed at the service and quality of their work. More over the honesty of the company. A COMPLETE SYSTEM delivered and installed at the quoted price. No, games of you can upgrade to for $$$ or we can add this and that to make it better for $$$, and the kicker always the additional annual maintainenece membership for $$-$$$-$$$$ the later makes you a priority customer. Jett and Mike included it all, plus 2-years scheduled maintenance and all Jett customers are a priority! I am impressed and thank you Mike, Jett and Fernando and the rest of the Jett Team!
