Goettl has been great to work with for the last year! Joe was our latest HVAC technician, and gave the best work possible that left us happy and relieved. He was able to diagnose the problem for our AC unit, and repair it in less than 30 minutes. I appreciate having an honest and professional company such as Goettl taking care of us. Had a second visit from Braden and Jorge to install a sink faucet and instant hot water dispenser. Super professional and polite. Did great work!

Nick and Devin were awesome. A pipe burst in my wall. They showed up quickly. Talked me through the whole thing. We’re great about letting me know what exactly was going on and spent the time to answer all my questions. Little pricy but super happy to have it fixed.

6/27: They charged me $89 to give me a $2,300 quote for a $100 part and a 2-4hr total job.

My advice is to save yourself $89 and call someone else or just do it yourself. For $2,200 of labor, at my hourly rate, as long as the 2-4 hour job takes me less than 60 hours, I’ll be coming out ahead. Got a feeling I’ll be able to figure this out in less than 60 hours.

6/28 Update: Originally I rated Goettl 1 star only for “poor value” and thought the rationale cited was sound: if I make $35 an hour at my job ($70k/yr), and if the quote was for $2,200 in labor, then 2,200/35 = 62.9 hours of labor.

However now I also give them 1 star for “Not Professional” given that they bothered me with a phone call to ask if there were other negative aspects of my experience… that I must have forgotten to complain about? I guess paying these people’s salaries is why Goettl has to quote you $800/hr for labor.

Also, the two quotes I got this morning were for $500 and $350, and they quoted me for free (no $89 charge) off emailed images and a 5min phone call.

Will follow up when the job is complete for $350 or when I’ve done it myself, and assuming the job quality is even close to acceptable, will be telling all my friends & family to avoid Goettl like the plague.

My experience with Goettl has been great! My air conditioner stopped working last night and within less than 24 hours James came to the house and fixed everything. He was on time, fast, professional, and friendly. I’m very happy and my house is much cooler now!

Absolutely amazing, they came out told us we needed a new unit, explained in detail why with pictures that were time stamped and had a new unit up in running later that evening. Techs were quick, thorough and polite with all we had going on at the house that day. 10/10 recommend

Had a really good experience with Goettl. Nathan came out to do the Rejuvenation package on my AC. He was thorough in his work and patient and friendly with me, while answering all of my questions and explaining the details of the service he performed. He laid out the specs about the future of my unit and made suggestions, but there was no "hard sell". Two thumbs up for Goettl and three thumbs up for Nathan!

We were lucky to have Hector and Jeff come out and help us with a plumbing issue. Not only were they professional, but they quickly found out the problem and were able to help fix it. All around great service and great guys!

My water softener exploded on memorial day. I called and they were here in less than an hour. They did exactly what they promised in an efficient manner despite it being a holiday with my desperation to get my family water. Julian was a plumber and did a phenomenal job and Devin was phenomenal as well. I will use this company in the future without hesitation, and I would refer them to my family and friends without hesitation.
