B & J Refrigeration Inc. - Heating and Cooling

B & J has been servicing our home for 8 years now. Today is one of those days that reminds me of why we have never even considered of changing companies. My Dad moved here from NY last October. He tried to turn the A/C on in his house for the first time last night. The fan just ran all night and he woke up to 75 degrees. By 1:00 today it was 90 degrees. He is 70 years old, from NY and definitely is not acclimated to this heat we have. I text Amy and told her and she said she would put him on the schedule for early tomorrow morning. The next thing I know my Dad called me and said a guy called from B & J and wanted to know if he could come and look at it now, it’s Sunday night at 6:30! No other company I know of would do this! It’s all fixed and he is relaxing comfortably! You guys absolutely rock!!! Thank you for being so awesome!!

Lawrence and his team hooked me up with a great Fujitsu mini split. They answered all my questions, got me on the schedule quickly, and were generally great to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

Nick came out after hours to get our AC working again. He did a thorough assessment to find the problem. The price was very reasonable, and we will use B&J in the future for our HVAC needs.

Definitely impressed with the whole experience from estimation to install. Everyone was responsive and the install team did an awesome job in coming up with the best layout for the tight space we have to work with. The true test will come this summer if the min split unit can keep my space cool enough.

There was a communication problem. We scheduled maintenance (via phone) on a specific date but B & J changed the date without notifying us beforehand. Also they did not initially provide complementary furnace filter which was promised when we made the original appointment

However serviceman was professional and completed the work satisfactorily

The service is outstanding. I have over 10 years using their services. Over the 10 years I've owned several homes in various areas of Tucson. Each home had a different air conditioning and heating system. Their services guys were "IN THE KNOW" with each system they encountered.
The bonus with the service this company offers is I've had the same technician assigned to each location.
This gave me a sense of Trust and Longevity of the staff.

Jeff Mymro has been working with me and my designer on a new home HVAC design. Jeff and B&J have been a true delight - helpful, friendly, asks great questions, performs superior design work on schedule and cost. I had previous experience with a different contractor in town where it seemed like my project was an annoyance to be dispensed with as quickly as possible. Jeff makes us feel welcome and that he wants to be part of the project team and has made many suggestions that will greatly improve the outcome of the project. A great experience.

I would have rated them a 5, based on the efficient and thorough installation by Tony and Martin. These guys know their job well. My only downside was that Lawrence promised a 6:00 a.m. start, because we were planning on heading out of town that day, and the installers didn't show up until after 8:00. But the install proceeded so well that we were able to leave by 1:00, which was about when we had planned. So all was well. I will use this service again for my annual preventative maintenance.

B & J did a great job installing a new Nest thermostat in our historic adobe building! They replaced our old heating unit and redid all the wiring, all in about a week - will definitely give them a call again if we ever need to.
